Asking Price: $2100 (Negotiable, hence list price of $1700. $2100 starting ask) Kelley Blue Book Value - $1050 ---Price Discrepancy due to amount of repair work put into vehicle (~$2300) ---KBB Value of $1050 is my absolute minimum however... ---Looking to Sell by NOVEMBER-JANUARY 2015 (may sell earlier if price is right) Fair Condition Working / Driving / Current Emissions / No Major Mechanical Issues / Rebuilt Title Automatic Transmission (sometimes trips back to 3rd Gear after engine hot, ~20min driving) Air Conditioning - Present, but weak (about 1/4th capability) Power Windows & Steering Wheels - 15” 195/60/15 (Factory - Front Steel, Rear Alloy - Salvaged from two Elantras) Tires - Front New, Rear 60% Tread Electric Blue Body! (beautiful if you ignore the small sections of paint peel...) 24mpg I bought this vehicle in July 2014 from previous owner on Craigslist. I am looking to sell between November-December 2015 (Saving for a new vehicle - for cruise control, 4WD, more room, and better A/C) ---may sell earlier if price is right Below is the work completed on vehicle since July 2014: ---Replaced Power Steering/Alternator Belt (July 2014) ---Replaced Coolant Tank (July 2014 - Old tank still in engine compartment though) ---Locked Passenger Front Door (July 2014 - have to open from inside now) ---Installed New Battery (September 2014) ---Front Control Arm Replacement, F Axle Replacment, Full Brake Servicing, & Rear Brake System Replacement (~$2,000 worth of repairs, February 2015) ---Replaced Wheels with Stock Wheels salvaged two other Elantra's (Front are Steel, Rear are Alloy - July 2015, $100) ---New Front Tires (~$130, July 2015) ---Engine Oil & Filter Change and Transmission Fluid Change (July 2015) ---New Fuel Pump & Strainer ($75, August 2015) I live in Thomaston but visit Atlanta/Norcross often. Can drive it to you if necessary for viewing/test drive. Minor Issues: ---Various, minor body scratches and paint peeling - see pictures ---Front Steel Wheels have slight unevenness, resulting in minimal vibrations above 55mph ---Air Conditioning is present, but weak (I'd say 1/4th the strength of normal air conditioning) ---Driver door lock can be difficult to open (have to push key down, find the right spot...I've usually just left unlocked & kept valuables in trunk) ---Driver door window seal against the metal has scratches (see pictures) - previous owner had to break into own car once due to leaving her keys (still weather proof, just cosmetic damage if you open the door and look at it) ---Front passenger door's actuator for the lock failed - it is currently rigged it to stay locked (you can buy replacement actuator & replace to fix, nothing too difficult) ---Transmission will slip back into 3rd gear after engine heats up (~20min driving), resulting in having to keep speed around 55-60mph maximum or will push RPM's high (2750-3000+) and start heating up engine (may just be a problem with O2 Sensor or Modulator) ---Superficial crack on windshield toward the bottom & one chip at top (do not appear to compromise integrity) ---Front CV Axle / Steering Column has slight damage - not a major mechanical issues or a safety hazard according to mechanics at 5-Star, just results in a tendency toward the left (about 5-10 degrees if steering wheel left free) ---Engine takes about 10 seconds to fully prime with Gasoline once started (for Fuel Pump to prime cylinders -- if tried to drive immediately upon starting will chug once or twice, then good to go) ---Cracked plastic cover for the engine (cosmetic) ---Trace a bolt atop the Engine (maybe a teaspoon loss per 2 weeks?) ---Left, Rear Tail Light is cracked, but functional & weatherproof (Taped up with a temporary repair kit, working fine) ---Oil pan bottom screw inlet is beginning to strip (if corrodes further, may eventually have to replace oil pan)
