It has a steel/fiberglass hummer body set atop of a 1985 Military Version Chevy K30 truck chassis. This conversion was done professionally and the fit and finish is beautiful. It only has 24,000 miles on it since the conversion was completed around 2004. The truck is a powered by an 8.1 liter big block Chevy fuel injected engine paired with a strong automatic transmission. The transfer case is a stock GM transfer case. It has lockers in the rear axle which allow this vehicle to go anywhere you want it to off road but it still has very good road manners. The truck sits on 37" Pro Comp Xterrain tires on 17" Weld wheels. The suspension rides at stock height so it is very smooth. It runs down the freeway at 70 mph very comfortably. The interior is pretty nice for a vehicle like this. It has leather seats and seating for 8 people with plenty of room for cargo in the back. It is well equipped with a decent sound system. The seats are very comfortable. It also has heater. The gauges seem to work well. I used to have a nice soft top but it got ripped so I threw it away and never replaced it because I prefer the convertible. There is a full built in roll cage to protect the cab and all passengers. The windshield folds down easily for a safari style ride. The floor and doors are fully rhino lined so it is very to clean. Custom built bumpers front and rear. This is a very cool truck that runs and drives very well. Remember it is NOT a real Hummer. It handles better off-road than any Jeep or other vehicle I have ever driven. The wheelbase and width make it an ideal candidate for any type of off-road use. The locker makes sure that you never get stuck.
