The H1 in great working order and has been very well cared for. The diesel motor fires right up and the transmission shifts great. The transfer case engages easily in and out of high and low ranges with no trouble at all. These H1’s are hard to find in stock form and even harder to find previously owned by a state Government. This model is also powered by a 6.5 liter NA diesel motor NOT A TURBO. The motors after 1995 were changed over to turbo models, these turbo models had block problems from the factory and nearly all of them have or will need the motor to be replaced. This is the newest non-turbo model you can find. This truck also was ordered without the problematic CTIS system that allows you to change tire pressure on the fly. This is a cool feature to show off to your friends but is generally more trouble than it is worth. If you have been looking for an H1 with no stories or issues this is it.
