Integrated roll bars sit behind the twin seats. A clear acrylic wind deflector that mounts between the bars helps to reduce turbulence while on the move. High-intensity-discharge headlamps and alloy wheels are standard and the convertible has a power-operated top. Standard equipment includes electric power steering, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry, a CD player, tachometer, digital clock, an immobilizer theft-deterrent system, and power windows, locks and mirrors. The instrument cluster features digital and graphic displays, adapted from those used in racing cars. Beneath the hood sits a 240-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder VTEC engine with dual-outlet exhaust that's made to rev as high as 9,000 rpm --- a limit far beyond most cars on the market; it yields 153 pounds-feet of torque at 7,500 rpm. Coupled to a six-speed-manual transmission, the S2000 leaps past its milder-mannered stablemates when pushing the gas pedal to the floor. At full throttle, you'll hear a deep, aggressive growl from the engine. Once it reaches 5,000 rpm or so, the S2000 lunges forward like a virtual rocket, its engine screaming passionately through each step of the close-ratio six-speed gearbox. As if acceleration prowess weren't enough, razor-sharp steering, disciplined handling talents and athletic cornering ability blend with excellent braking capacity to produce a driving experience that approaches racing car level. I'm selling my beloved S2000 after 4 years of ownership. This car is a blast to drive and is very well kept. Although it's a driver quality car, it took 3rd out of all Honda coupes at ForumFest's car show last month. I encourage anyone interested to come have a look and drive in person before buying, you will not be disappointed. Here's the quick info: -Original New Forumula Red on black with 96100 miles currently on the body -F22C swap from a 2004 model with 93k miles (have documentation) swapped 1 year ago. Compression/leakdown tests and valve adjustment done before install this is a very healthy motor -4.77 LSD rear diff (original 4.10 LSD available) +yellowjacket speedo calibrator -J's racing type S widebody (F&R bumpers, front fenders, side skirts) -Double sided CF mugen style hardtop by forbiddenUSA. Has its own set of latches. 2x2 twill to match hood/trunk. -CF hood with 4 aerocatch hood pins (one locking set one standard) -Mastergrade CF trunk -ZG rear overfenders installed the right way, LOTS of room for more rubber. Very unique, much less common than the ASM or other style overfenders -Tein flex full coilovers -17x10 +35 5Zigen FN01RC wheels with 255/40R17 Falken Azenis tires. Also has hub centric rings, PWJDM lugs, and original 5Zigen center caps -DC ceramic coated header, stainless dual exhaust (painted black) -Custom cold air intake using bumper intake scoop. One off piece, you will not find another S2000 with this intake! -Hardwired Beltronics 955 radar system with mute button in center console -Apexi Vtec & air/fuel controller installed into the inside of the radio door (radio recessed slightly so the door still closes) This piece gave me 20HP in 2hrs on the dyno with the last motor. Running stock ECU settings now. -Pioneer Premier stereo with remote button interface, component speakers in the doors. -2way Clifford alarm. also has remote start functions not hooked up -Koyo radiator, slotted brake rotors, J's exhaust/header heat shield, custom tow points, strut tower brace, extended (over floor brace) floor mats, smoked side markers, 3M paint protection film, ETC -Ingalls camber joints not installed. -Comes with owner's manual, tonneau cover, coilover wrenches, a book full of reciepts/dyno sheet etc. LOTS of maintenance and upkeep done over my 4 year ownership. ***Recent upkeep (last 3 months) includes 4 wheel alignment, new battery, cabin filter, replaced half shaft seal in diff w/new diff fluid, AC refrigerant service, tire balance, Mobil1 oil change, and a nice detail.
