This vehicle was owned by the same elderly couple from 1992 until 2015 (96k miles), stored in the garage of their vacation home. It was passed on to their 42 y/o daughter of whom I purchased the vehicle. It has been garage kept in FL for the entirety of it's life! This car has never seen snow or salt and is 100% rust free. I have a large folder full of records from 1992 to current including service receipts, oil changes, detailing, owners manual, and even the original sales invoice! I am the original owner and have never smoked or had children or pets in this car. The interior is like new. It has always been garaged or kept under a carport. It has original paint and a few minor dings, but no rust. It is fully loaded. The anti-lock brakes quit about 7 years ago. Now the brakes work perfectly as regular disc brakes, like two different mechanics assured me they would. Everything else works and looks great. I have impeccable maintenance records on this car. It has been well maintained inside and out. I replaced the timing belt, water pump and valve cover at 68,826 miles and plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pvc valve and air filter at 89,000 miles. This is a great looking, solid car with lots of life left. I hate to let it go, but need a truck to pull a boat. H22A 200 HP DOHC VTEC engine is very clean, no oil leaks or oil burning if driven respectively, very strong. New BF Goodrich TA T 215/55R16 tires and smoked polished alloy wheels ride great! Just added High Performance Slotted and Drilled Rotors with zinc coating on all four wheels. All you have to do is drive it! Tires are balanced well and alignment is right on, driver straight and tight. I have owned the car as a project for the past 12 years. It is a low mileage 4th generation Honda Prelude Si in great used condition. It is rust free and has recently been painted with red plasti dip. The paint under the plasti dip is honda Inza Red Pearl but the clearcoat was starting to chip away so I had the vehicle coated to prevent any further damage. The Florida sun is brutal on paint. The upgrades include a performance built motor with 5,000 miles on it and capable of supporting over 600 horsepower. The parts list includes: JE pistons, Crower rods, ported and polished head, AEM adjustable cam gears, xs engineering to4x turbo and intercooler, custom aluminum i/c piping with t-bolt clamps, SPF manifold, HKS GT wastegate, HKS ssq blow off valve, full 3" exhaust with stainless down pipe and apexi N1 muffler, ported intake manifold, 68mm throttle body, p72 ecu running ectune, 1000cc MSD injectors, Walbro 255lph fuel pump, CSF aluminum radiator, new water pump and timing set, new ignition cap rotor and plugs, all new gaskets and filters, custom oil catch can, Competition stage 4 clutch. Aside from the motor I have upgraded the vehicle with new axles, ball joints, tie rods, s2000 brake calipers with RSX Type S rotors, stainless brake lines, Tein HA 24 way adjust adjustable coil overs, G-games Wolf 77 18x7.5" rims, new 225-40-18 tires, PBR brake pads, VIS vented carbon fiber hood, Pro Sport gauges, 5th gen glass sun roof, black housing one piece head lights. The bad: The antenna makes some noise when it goes up. Some interior panes are faded from the sun. Some trim panels have visible cracks in them. The back light in the temp/fuel gauge cluster flickers from time to time. The aftermarket oil temp gauge does not read accurately(replacement part purchased but not installed). The clear coat in the paint was chipping so the car was coated in red Plastidip to prevent further damage to the paints clear coat. The A/C blows cold and the power steering works great. These are two features you normally do not see on a turbocharged Honda. The car performs excellent and is a blast to drive. It has around 380-400 horsepower at 9psi. Perfectly serviced by Japanese car mechanic. Has all options that were offered - Rear spoiler, CD player, and sp. ordered pearl paint. Meticulously detailed in every way inside / out.
