The car has very minor dings and rust spots, I will add more pictures of the rust areas and dings in 24 hours. rear brakes are new, tires are new. interior has very little wear if any. The motor and transmission function perfectly. Automatic transmission. Driver side window seems to be shifting a little when closing and opening on very cold days such as today, today it was 19 degrees here in Chicago. This car can be driven anywhere as is. 1 owner and original title from 1999. 1 key with one remote. This particular car was made in JAPAN.

I am the original owner and have never smoked or had children or pets in this car. The interior is like new. It has always been garaged or kept under a carport. It has original paint and a few minor dings, but no rust. It is fully loaded. The anti-lock brakes quit about 7 years ago. Now the brakes work perfectly as regular disc brakes, like two different mechanics assured me they would. Everything else works and looks great. I have impeccable maintenance records on this car. It has been well maintained inside and out. I replaced the timing belt, water pump and valve cover at 68,826 miles and plugs, wires, cap, rotor, pvc valve and air filter at 89,000 miles. This is a great looking, solid car with lots of life left. I hate to let it go, but need a truck to pull a boat. I will only accept a certified check that has cleared my bank or cash prior to signing over the title.

This 1996 Honda Prelude SI is the cleanest one around. - 2.3 L Vtec - 5 Speed Manual - 133k Original miles- Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors- Moonroof- Alpine CD Deck- A/C Ice Cold Extras:- Borbet 16 Inch 8 Spoke Gunmetal Wheels with New Continental Tires- Front Slotted/Drilled Brake Rotors The interior is in EXCELLENT condition. 1987 Honda Prelude, 2nd gen, 2.0 Si, manual transmission, ac, pw, pb,and ps. This is a project car, it does not run. Body has rust, interior is good (driver's seat has a tear). It needs a new head, timing belt is fine, but should be replaced with the head. Engine is partially dissembled, includes all of the parts and new engine seal/head kit ($100 value). This does not include a new head, that is the buyer's responsibility. A decent, reconditioned head will run about $300. This was a fun car to drive with the manual transmission, it had handling and power, but great on fuel. Get it running and enjoy or go full out restoration on a classic car. Over the past four years we have put in many new parts, including: exhaust from the manifold back; new clutch and flywheel; new breaks, rotors, upper ball joints and drive axle; new radiator and battery; replaced the rear bumper frame (old one was rusted); and replaced two tires. Also included is the original radio, and a decent headlight housing/cover. Asking $1750, but no reasonable offer will be refused. Local pickup only, I will not ship. If you are looking for an amazing 5th generation Prelude, then you've found "The One". This has always been a garage kept car and when I purchased it for my wife in 2010, it was to be the "Red Prelude she had always dreamed of having". We bought it in 2010 with only 41k original miles. It was perfect in every way, except that it was silver and that was her least favorite color. I paid one of the best painters on the east coast to paint it Redline Red with Cinnamon flake for her - and it was done RIGHT. The doors, hood, and trunk and were removed, sanded, and painted - along with all of the jambs. It was painted with one of the best paints out there - SIKKENS, and the car was meticulously put back together after the color change. She has been very happy with it, but now she is having health issues and it is very difficult for her to get out of the car. She has bought an SUV that is taller and easier for her to get out of. So here are the specifics on the car: VTEC 4 cylinder that gets 29-30 mpg. Current mileage is 77,153. It has never been a daily driver, but typically only used for fair weather driving. She put less than 3k miles on it last year. The timing belt and water pump were replaced at the Honda dealership when it had 64,549 miles. All exterior belts were also replaced, as well as distributor and sensor O-rings and a new valve cover gasket. Nothing leaks and the last 3k mile oil change was about a month ago. 5 speed tranny and the tranny oil has been changed twice. Tires are 50-70% and I rotate them. Brakes are like new. I put a new header on it with another factory exhaust and new O2 sensors. The windshield was replaced in 2010 and the windows were tinted in 2011. My son gave his mom the strut stabilizer that you see under the hood and installed it for her so it would handle better. SH factory fog lights were added and aftermarket headlight assemblies were installed for better lighting. They are HIDs with ANGEL EYES like BMWs have. They really look good on the car. The radio is a Kenwood with mids and tweets in the factory door accesses and 6x9s in the package tray with an 10" JL subwoofer box in the trunk. The wife loves her music and she wanted more updated capabilities than the factory radio offered. I have 4 keys to the car. Two regular keys, one valet key, and one master key. NOTE: She scuffed the corner of the front bumper this year backing out of the garage. I took a close up pic to show it. NOTE 2: We are close to being 60 years old and this car has never been "SOMEONE'S RACE CAR". It has been garage kept and driven by adults and meticulously maintained. Serious buyers only. My Prelude is in very good condition. AC is super cold, hardly ever take off low setting! New authenic Honda black factory floor mats, nice. Always used front windshield insert to protect dash and interior from sun rays. Front speakers just replace with 6 1/2 " Sony speakers. Original Honda AM/FM/CD stereo sounds great, CD player does not seem to work, never use. Exterior is straight with a couple small dings, original paint is good especially for a 15 years, some fading on roof. Some Honda touch-up paint applied. Front bumper has fresh paint, just could not let it go any longer, to much paint wear over the years. I removed the front bumper, had it painted and reinstalled. Replaced headlights while the bumper was removed. Hood has a couple of paint chips. Windshield and left window has been professionally replaced because of many miles of interstate driving, now crystal clear view! Auto trans shifts great, no problems or leaks. H22A 200 HP DOHC VTEC engine is very clean, no oil leaks or oil burning if driven respectively, very strong. New BF Goodrich TA T 215/55R16 tires and smoked polished alloy wheels ride great! Just added High Performance Slotted and Drilled Rotors with zinc coating on all four wheels. All you have to do is drive it! Tires are balanced well and alignment is right on, driver straight and tight. 94 Honda Prelude - Turbo (NOT 4WS) Tuned @ 7psi Swapped H23 A3 European motor. Approx. 110k miles on this motor. Greddy BOV Turbosmart Wastegate 7" Touch screen radio AEM wideband Air/fuel gauge Autometer boost gauge Chipped, reprogramable ECU. Enkie wheels, Dunlop tires (only driven 2k miles) Carbon fiber hood Lowered Tinted windows Power windows & locks Comes with many extra parts & chip burner for Crome. **Please read, this is everything about the car** I've owned this car since 2009 with the motor already swapped. I turbocharged the car in 2012, timing belt and pulleys were also done at this time. I have not driven the car more than 3 times in 2015. The car is tuned on "Crome" at 7psi. Injectors were changed, fuel pump, etc. Car runs and shifts great, all suspension and brakes are newer. At highway speeds the car intermittently has a shimmy in the steering wheel, this comes and goes. I have never had a serious problem or felt unsafe in the car. On hot summer days the car will overheat, I believe this is only due to the hood not breathing enough and turbo heat gathering (see cracks from heat on carbon fiber hood). The radiator and hoses have been upgraded and the thermostat has been removed. It has duel fans, one blowing through the radiator and one blowing towards the turbo. The cluster in the car is a "manual" cluster reading approx. 175k. I have a manual transmission I can put in the trunk to help towards a manual conversion upon your request. Body has some imperfections that I have supplied pictures of. I have put a lot of time and money into this car and it is a great driver and head turner. Hello i am selling my 1989 honda prelude s 2.0l. This vehicle currently does not run, it has not been through the shop so this car might be able to be fixed. The vehicle's engine is turning over but there is no spark. I'm looking to sell this vehicle because I'm trying to purchase a new project car. The paint is in pretty rough condition with paint peeling off and there is a couple minor dents and scratches but there is no signs of rust at all on this car. I am the second owner of this classic Honda Prelude, which I purchased in Tucson Arizona in 2008 (only 52k miles on it at the time). Since then, I've taken meticulous care of this vehicle. Has the high performance Mugen twin loop exhaust installed--feels and drives like a Prelude should. There have been no accidents and oil changes and routine maintenance have been performed on time. The timing belt was replaced in January of 2013 and I recently bought new tires (6/14), new front & rear brakes (5/15), and a new battery (7/15)--all of which are under warranty. Consistently gets ~23 mpg in the city and no less than 28 mpg on the freeway. I get a lot of compliments on this car, from mechanics, friends, and random people on the sidewalk. With such low miles, this gem has a lot of life in it. I hope the next owner enjoys it as much as I have.
