AM, FM stereo w/cassette player, clock. Light weight hybrid aluminum body, intermittent windshield wipers, rear window wiper w/washer, rear fender skirts. Lockable glove box.. Driver visor mirror IMA battery charging strong. Recent factory Honda battery pack and oil and filter change. Complete with all tools, jack, owners manual, All original keys with remote control. These cars are built to last. Because of the aluminum magnesium, the car is totally rust free. The car is fun to drive, runs and drive very quit, everything works. No rattles, no squeaks, no noise. Great gas mileage, approximately 60 mile / gallon. Car runs smoothly with plenty of power. Everything is in great condition except for a crack in the windshield which is not expensive to replace. Interior is super clean, except for one small rip on the side of the driver seat. See picture. I've been driving the car everyday and did not see the need to replace the windshield. Don’t let the mileage scare you. These cars typically have high mileage because they are fun to drive, excellent gas mileage and they never breakdown. Hi there. I'm selling my 2002 Honda Insight. It's a great car and I've considered keeping it as a backup car but I could use the money since I purchased a new vehicle due to growing family. It is not a perfect car, as it is over 10 years old, but it's in pretty darn good shape. The most important thing is the previous owner said the hybrid battery was recently replaced on it, which is the biggest expense with these things. I have gotten a CEL code on this in the past for the exhaust system but it went away some months ago and hasn't come back. Car has just had a fresh oil change with full synthetic and a Mobil1 filter. I will also include a bluetooth stereo I purchased that I never got around to putting in, new in the box. For sale we have a 2005 Honda Insight Electric Hybrid. This insight runs and drives like brand new. Under the hood it features the 1.0L L3 FI SOHC 12V engine. Motor is very healthy and it starts right up with no issues. The automatic transmission shifts perfect thru out all the gears. The hybrid batteries are charging up as they should with no issues. The car gets up to 61 city, 66 highway MPG. Thanks to its aluminum body this car will never rust out and that is another reason why it gets such good fuel mileage. The A/C is cold and the heat is warm. The car has an after market CD player. The outside body is clean and well kept. The interior is in good shape as well. Up for auction is my personal 2000 Honda Insight Hybrid. If you are looking for a car that can achieve 70 mpg if driven right, this is the car to buy. I purchased this vehicle back in September 2010 with 146,000 miles to make a 7,000 mile road trip from NJ to CA and almost every state in between over the course of a month and a half. A week before the trip the car had the $4,500 IMA battery replaced by Honda in Clinton, NJ. The car made the trip without skipping a beat and has never needed any notable repairs during my ownership, just oil changes, tires and a wheel alignment within the last 50,000 miles. The car still drives like a new car and is one of the most unique vehicles I have ever had the opportunity to own. It will be sad for me to let it go, but I find myself driving it less and less simply due to owning several cars. The car's options are as follows:Power Windows and LocksPower SteeringABSAlarmAirbags5-speed manual trans (more fuel efficient and robust than the cvt) - there are absolutely no synchro issues or grinds (a lot of people have asked) Ice Cold AC - if you are looking at other insights be careful, they don't all have ACSony CD Player with AUX InputSpeakers added behind the seats (the car comes with the holes stock but nothing installed)Color Matched Center Console from a Honda Civic (there is no center console stock and adding this made the car a lot more comfortable)Aftermarket Cruise Control - works well but I never use it3 additional cigarette adapters/cell phone charging ports in the glove box (from the big road trip) Condition/Issues:The cars current condition is used but very presentable with no known mechanical issues, people mistake this car for a new model very frequently. I would not hesitate to drive the car cross country tomorrow. The roof has lost its clear coat over the years from being in the sun. There is also a small blemish the size of a quarter in front of the rear drivers side wheel that I have included a picture of. I did hit a deer with this car once at very low speed and it was repaired by insurance, the airbags did not deploy and the only part that needed to be replaced was the dented hood.
