AM, FM stereo w/cassette player, clock. Light weight hybrid aluminum body, intermittent windshield wipers, rear window wiper w/washer, rear fender skirts. Lockable glove box.. Driver visor mirror IMA battery charging strong. Recent factory Honda battery pack and oil and filter change. Complete with all tools, jack, owners manual, All original keys with remote control. These cars are built to last. Because of the aluminum magnesium, the car is totally rust free. The car is fun to drive, runs and drive very quit, everything works. No rattles, no squeaks, no noise. Great gas mileage, approximately 60 mile / gallon. Car runs smoothly with plenty of power. Everything is in great condition except for a crack in the windshield which is not expensive to replace. Interior is super clean, except for one small rip on the side of the driver seat. See picture. I've been driving the car everyday and did not see the need to replace the windshield. Don’t let the mileage scare you. These cars typically have high mileage because they are fun to drive, excellent gas mileage and they never breakdown. I’m only selling the car because of wife’s complaint of too many cars in the driveway. Local pickup only. Shipping is buyer’s responsibility. This extremely fuel efficient 5 speed manual transmission hybrid car is terrific for two people! Lifetime mileage is over 52 mpg and trips back and forth to the office regularly get me at least 50 mpg, as shown on the current tank of fuel. The car also uses the cheapest regular gas you can find, so it is very economical. The transmission is very easy to use and remains smooth shifting. There is plenty of luggage room in the hatchback, the car has power steering for easy maneuvering, and the air conditioning can be set to either remain on all the time, or go off when in standby mode at a traffic light to save fuel. It has a radio/CD player, power windows, power locks, ice cold AC, and an extended 10 year warranty on the hybrid battery which was replaced under warranty just about 2 years ago before the extended warranty expired. The Buy It Now price includes everything you see in the pictures: impossible to find drivers side floor mat (and passenger side), wired Valentine 1 radar detector with hidden remote, wired Scan Gauge II to help get into Lean Burn along with a custom Blendmount to attach it to the rear view mirror, rear carpet and a rear cover to hid packages. The tires, which are the correct RE 92's, are barely worn, and the plugs were replaced about 10,000 miles ago with the correct indexed spark plugs. I also have a spare full size 5th wheel and tire, along with an armrest specific to the insight that I never used. Any extra oil (Mobil 1 0w-20 and filters) will be provided. The car also has the optional rear speakers. The reserve is set lower, and will not include all the extras (rear speakers excepted, they stay with the car). It is hard to find a nice 5 speed these days, and certainly rare to find one with so little mileage (average about 7000 miles per year). Without all the extra's, the reserve price is set lower, so you can get the car either way. Only real blemish is the driver’s side headlight has dulled. When I had someone try to restore it, they did a lousy job and nicked the paint around the headlight. Should be able to handle by a good compounding, but it currently the only real blemish. The other minor cosmetic issue is the passenger side rear wheel spat (cover) lost its fastener and got dragged on the ground causing some scuff marks. I replaced the fastener and no issues since then. I can take any close-ups you want. I can provide much more information regarding the specs and performance to the “gear heads” out there, so let me know. This car is not slow as the car magazines would have you believe. It easily and economically keeps up with traffic without any problem. I f there is an additional view you want to see, let me know. I am not much of a photographer, so I had some help on redoing the pictures. I can have more pictures taken. If you want a pre purchase inspection, that is fine, but it has to be completed before the auction concludes, and of course you pay for it. I reserve the right to end this auction early or remove or cancel it entirely. Terms and Conditions: A small deposit of $1000 is required within 48 hours of end of bidding. No car or title will be released until funds completely cleared (I can provide wiring instructions), or you can show up with cash, and we will count it out at my bank. Anything else expect 7-10 days before funds are cleared and vehicle and title released). I will hold the car up to 14 days after close of auction at no cost unless other arrangements are made prior to the close of the auction. Super Nice Insight! Capable of 70mpg! Super strong hybrid battery! No warning lights! No Accidents! Clean AutoCheck Report! Michelin Tires!! Exterior Condition- The factory Silverstone Metallic paint is in very good condition. There are no indications of any rust, flood, or accident history of any kind. All of the body panels have their original vin stickers on them. The right wheel cover has 2 thin scratches that are about 14" long (barely noticeable from 5' away). The front spoiler has 2 tears in it (see pics). The only other blemish is a small 6" light scratch on the right quarter (also very light and hardly noticeable). Overall the Insight is in much better condition than you would expect for any car of the same vintage and mileage! Interior Condition- The interior is equally as clean. The only blemishes are noticeable under close scrutiny only. The seats are in near perfect condition. The dash, headliner, and carpets are very clean. All of the interior options perform as they should, including the a/c. The trip reset button may have a dirty connection as it only works intermittently. Engine and Transmission- The engine performs as it should with no strange noises, leaks, or vibrations. It has plenty of power for any traffic situations. The engine oil has just been changed. It is ready to drive anywhere! The clutch performs normally. The transmission downshifts great through all gears (it does not have the common synchro problem). There is a very subtle "notch" when up shifting, it is not a grind, just a slight pause before going into the next gear. I changed the gear oil to full synthetic last week and it made a huge difference, but I have only driven it 10 miles so far. I suspect as the synthetic gear oil works it way through the trans it will disappear completely. Again it is very subtle and will probably be gone all together by the time the new owner takes possession. Hybrid Battery- The hybrid battery is stronger than other Insights I have had in the past. I suspect that it has been changed or upgraded. Normal driving, around 40-50mph the gauge indicates it is getting around 80mpg! Tires- The tires are a newer matching set of Michelins, with approximately 3/4 tread depth remaining. Feel free to come by and take a look anytime!
