I'm the original owner (non-smoker), and I'm selling my 2006 Element 5 DR 2WD EX, 5-speed manual. YES, I have a CARFAX report I can send you. It's clean. :) This car is located in Spring, TX, and you need to be able to pick up the vehicle and finalize the transaction at my bank.UPDATE: I had the car DETAILED this week: upholstery cleaned, scrubbed inside and out, and waxed until it shines. WOW. It looks like it's on a dealer's lot. (And I wonder why I never did this before! But that's life. You fix things up to sell, don't you?) Some of the picture early on are pre-detailing. The last pics are after it's been spiffed up.Anyway, I truly love this car, and I think you will too. It has seriously low miles, has been kept up in great shape, and is in excellent condition, including the tires, which are almost brand new. I thought it had a couple door dings. I was wrong. How a 9 year old car ends up without door dings I'll never know, but it's pretty pristine. There's a 4" thin scratch on the driver's side door on the lower half of the panel and there are some small nicks in the black bumper-thing on the driver's side. Other than that, it's like new. There are some really cool aspects to this car. *First, it has a 5-star safety rating. * Second, no carpet! Kids, pets, dirt, just wipe it out. *And the seats are make of a durable material that no dog-nails can puncture. * The rear side doors can not be opened unless the front side doors are open. These are called s fly-out doors or "suicide" doors. * And the rear seats can be laid back completely flat, not almost flat, flipped up onto the side walls, or taken completely out, leaving you with a huge cargo hold. The front seats also lie flat, allowing you to turn all for seats into a massive bed for camping and adventures. It's genius for dog owners, campers, x-sport enthusiasts, and general home owners who need to haul things around (college furnishings for dorm, garden plants and soil, lumber, camping gear, and on and on). And l it's a manual, which means it's fun to drive. (Automatic is so boring. You may as well be sitting in a recliner.)In 9 years, it's only been in one accident where some road debris on I-45 flew up and hit the hood. Allstate insurance covered the repair, which amounted to $723.00.Here are the details:2.4 Liter 4-CYL Engine, multiport Fuel InjectionXM radio readyAM/FM/CD with 7 speakersMP3/digital media jack.ACAnd all the usual features. See picture for full list.
