My wife and I drove this car for the past 3 years. We have loved it and it has performed perfectly for us. We maintained it regularly and drove it gently (we have 2 young children and are very conservative drivers). Were it not for the fact that we recently decided to purchase a travel trailer and hence are in need of a vehicle that can tow over 5,000 lbs we would NOT be selling our Element. SUMMARY The Good: ? NO accidents. ? Excellent mechanical and structural condition. ? All functions and accessories work (except 1 LED light on the temperature control panel) ? Routinely maintained. ? Paint is shiny. Interior is clean. No rust ? Great in the SNOW + Excellent Utility vehicle; Reliable engine The Bad: ? Minor body imperfections: There are a few dings on the roof and hood (Presumably from tree debris/acorns, pine cones, etc). There is a minor paint scuff on the plastic rear side panel (seems like a parking lot rub). There are a couple of smallish scratches on the tailgate (inflicted by a bike pedal). ? Above average road noise due to the Element's design- rubber flooring vs carpeting (IMHO the easy of cleaning the rubber flooring makes up for the slightly above average road noise).
