Off-lease direct from Honda (The Honda dealers buy these just like I do. Two of them told me so.) CLEAN CARFAX--NO ACCIDENTS, One Owner, Three months of factory warranty left.Because this car is so nice, and because I've set the price so low, the price is not negotiable. (The pictures don't really show it, but the inside is as nice as the outside.)I have two other Civics also. Both of them are also off-lease, clean carfax, and one owner. The first one is gray and is an automatic. It has 35600 miles. I know it isn't long, but it's still under factory warranty for another 400 miles. This car is not as nice as the white one. (It's the first car I've bought that hasn't been exactly as described.) It has two small scars on the front seat that are probably the beginning of cigarette burns. It also has two very small dents in the drivers side rear door, and a few small scratches on the right front bumper. The bumper also sticks out about an eighth of an inch where the scratches are. Because of all those things I'm only asking $11,500. If you don't mind those cosmetic flaws, it's a nice car for the price. The other Civic is a manual. It's just about as nice as the white one (it's silver). Unfortunately it seems that not many people want a manual these days. But if you're one of the few that still likes driving a manual, this is a very nice car at a very nice price. (I've been driving it for about three months now. I've put over four thousand miles on it. And if I was going to keep one of these cars I'd probably keep this one.) It's $11,300.I have one more Honda also: a 2012 CR-Z. As with all my cars: it's off-lease, clean carfax, and one owner. It's a little two-seater hybred. It's a very nice car with less than 25,000 miles. It's also a manual--6 speed (shifts VERY nice). It's a fun car to drive and it gets excellent gas mileage. (I got over 45 MPG driving it home.) It's black, and has a couple of very minor scuffs on the drivers side (not very noticeable). And a few gouges on the front bumper that are almost totally unnoticeable. But, once again, it seems like nobody wants a two seater (I don't see many of these cars on the road), or nobody wants a stick shift. I'll let that one go for $12,000. Very good on gas 1.7, automatic. 197K. 2nd owner. no motor noises, no smoking or burning of oil. smooth transmission. minimal rust limited to the inside of the bottom of the doors, one spot about the size of a silver dollar on drivers side rear wheel well, and a few bubbles on the tip of the hood from rock chips. Heater works great. Has A/C but see below under NEEDS section. Gold interior Gold Exterior. Keyless entry. NEEDS: *windshield cracked at the bottom last winter and has a scuff from previous owner.. costs around 180 *the AIRCONDITIONING works when it wants to but mostly doesnt.. had it looked at was told its the clutch going bad . *SRS light on *check engine light on. had it looked at. was told its a vacuum leak. you cannot tell it to drive the car.. there are no misses or anything ,,,if i wouldnt have told you about it you wouldnt be able to tell. so it isnt something that would need attention right away. i live in an emissions check county and it wouldnt pass just from the light being on so if you dont live in an ECHECK county its not something i would worry about. you are more than welcome to come and inspect the car. * wheel bearing needs done soon *one rear window has never rolled down since i purchased the car *the front bottom bumper has had a crack since i purchased it. so i bought a bra to cover it * passenger taillight has a small rock chip on the side *brakes are good. but every once in a while one likes to "hang up" nothing serious but i thought i would mention it just in case it decided to do it on you. you cant tell it other than the noise it makes when it does it. just trying to mention everything i can think of If you are looking for a perfect car this isnt it. light scratches and a couple of dings...nothing large... but if you are looking for a good running to get you from point A to point B and that you can fill up the tank at the beginning of the week and still have some gas at the end (depending on how far you drive)... then this is the car for you! THE GOOD: It's a Honda Civic -- as reliable as a car can be, inexpensive parts and easy to repair. THE BAD: It needs a head gasket and the miles are up there-- they're all highway miles (my daily commute is 100 miles/day). I bought the car with 73,000 miles on it and have changed the oil religiously every 5000 miles. The car has been well-maintained (you don't get this many miles on a car by crossing fingers and hoping for the best-- you have to maintain the car). AND THE UGLY: Actually, for a northern car of this vintage, it's not too bad. There is a bit of rust coming through under the gas filler door and some rust starting to come through on the passenger quarter panel, but other than that, there's not much rust on the top or underneath. The interior is in very good condition. The A/C compressor needs to be replaced, so the A/C on the car is currently in operable, but other than that, everything on the car works (power windows, door looks, lights/gauges etc.). The car runs fine and can be driven in its current condition, but the head gasket situation will need to be addressed. If you know your way around replacing a head gasket, or know someone who can, with a relatively small amount of money spent on parts, you could have a car with plenty of life left in it.
