2000 Honda Civic GX. I bought this car about 8 years ago and it has always ran and drove great. No check engine lights. Routine maintenance is all that was needed. I just replaced all 3 engine belts and front brakes. I run Amsoil synthetic motor oil and filters. The car comes with two new CNG fuel filters as well as one Amsoil oil filter. The front Michelin and rear Hankook tires are like new. The AC, power windows, cruise, all work but the power door locks do NOT work. I lock manually when needed. Interior is not perfect but fairly good, see photos. Comes with two keys and fobs. The car burns/uses virtually no oil, no problems with transmission or drive train, drives good. I had it repainted shortly after I bought it. There is now a little surface rust in spots, I have tried to catch them in the photos. There are a few small dents that are hard to see but tried to capture in photos, bottom of drivers door and left rear above bumper for example. May be others but I can't find them, see photos. Car looks decent for a 2000. I would keep this neat car if we had a CNG station nearby but we don't. Unfortunately my Fuelmaker C3 compressor doesn't work properly so the car has to go. If you want to buy a CHEAP C3 that needs work, maybe we can make a package deal. Otherwise I will be trying to list it on ebay soon. I will help with delivery if you arrange for shipping or I could drive or trailer the car shorter distances. Mileage is listed as 74,525 but I still occasionally drive the car so that could change.

One of a kind Civic GX up for sale. If you have easy access to a CNG station, this is the ultimate commuter car. The weak link in this generation Civic was the CVT transmission. I have converted this car to a manual using OEM Honda parts and a transmission from the Civic HX. The Civic HX had longer gear ratios than the standard LX or EX Civics. After the conversion this car consistently achieves 45mpg and most of my daily commute is between 65 and 80mph. In addition to the transmission conversion, the rear brakes on this car have been converted to disk from drum. As you can see from the details below, this car has been well cared for and should need little maintenance for quite some time. A few people have asked, I'm selling the car because the price of CNG has gone up too far where I live to make the car economical compared to alternatives. CNG here is now competing with diesel and went up from $1.00/gge to $2.29/gge which is why I'm selling the car. If the price had not changed like that I would have driven this car forever. The cng tank expires in Aug-2016 which would give you enough time to decide if you want to replace it. No issues with the existing tank and it was inspected in 2013. Replacements can be had for under $2k. Honda produced the Civic GX in the early 2000's as a fleet vehicle and that's where this one started. It was used at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (Atlanta, GA) from 2002 until 2012. The previous owner purchased it at a government auction and put limited miles on it until 2014 when I purchased the vehicle with 68500 miles on it. Currently at 105982 and will continue to rise because I'm using this car for my daily. I have performed the following maintenance on the car since I've owned it:Low Pressure CNG filter change every 10kHigh Pressure CNG filter change at 70k and then again at 100k (30k interval)Timing belt and tensioner done at 70kCoolant replacement at 70kPS and A/C belts replaced at 70kOil change every 10k with Royal Purple 5w20.
