This car needs repair. The IMA battery system has failed. Before you are able to drive this car the IMA system will need to be replaced. At present the IMA light, check engine light, and charging system light are all on. Again consistent the IMA failure as confirmed by Honda in February 2016. I am the second owner of this car and have owned it since May 2006. It has always been maintained at a Honda dealer and I have the paperwork to show for it. 134,363 miles. When I purchased the car in 2006 it had 43,000 miles on. The car has been driven across the country and back a few times with no issues until the Hybrid IMA system failed. There have been a few minor accidents- all of which have been repaired. July 2006, I hit a coyote. This was turned into insurance and repaired at a body shop. September 2006, I was hit in a parking lot. Again turned into insurance and repaired at a body shop. In one of the photos you can see some minor rust and bubbling on the drivers side door from this incident. There was a refurbished bumper put on at this time and the paint has started to chip in a few places. There are 3 rock chips in the windshield. 2 of the chips have been sealed with whatever they use at the window repair shops. Additionally, there are minor scratches and scrapes. A few door dings and rock chips in the paint of the hood. Interior is very clean. Adult owned. The backseat has hardly had anyone in it. Beige carpet and seats are clean for a 10 year old vehicle. Plastic mats have protected the carpet. No cracks in the dash as it has always been covered with a dashmat. Tinted windows, aftermarket Sony CD/MP3 player with audio jack. New spark plugs and brakes in winter 2012. 60,000 mile recommended maintenance.90,000 mile recommended maintenance.Oil changes done every 5,000 miles as recommended by Honda. 0W20 Synthetic Honda oil always put in it. Hybrid battery system replaced once at 90,000 miles due to an IMA failure and unfortunately the second IMA failed. Shifts smooth and is really fun to drive. I hate to see it go, but it's time. A/C works and heater blows hot. 16,300 miles on Toyo Extensa tires. Tires rotated every 5,000 miles consistent with the oil changes.
