Here we present to you a very nice CRX HF from 1987. It will be very difficult to find one of these cars with lower original miles on it and in better condition.The paint on this car shines beautifully, and there is virtually no rust on the body. This is a car for a true CRX enthusiast who is looking for a non-modified well preserved example of a 1G CRX. We have put many hours of work into refurbishing this car after being in storage for many years. Some (but not all) of the things which have been done on the car are- carburetor rebuilt (parts and labor $650+)- timing belt and water pump replaced- rear brakes replaced- recent fresh exhaust system (correct OEM equivalent spec, not a boy racer 'fart can')- fuel tank drained and cleaned with fresh gas ($200)- vacuum hoses checked and replaced where necessary- coolant system drained, flushed and refilled. ($150)- relays replaced and cooling fans checked ($130)- recently replaced and balanced tires ($350)- minor dings and scratches on car repaired and given complete repaint with high quality 2-stage automotive paint at a cost of more than $3,000 (only the major silver color, not the dark gray plastics)- cracked headlight and front corner lights replaced ($250)- thorough cleaning and detailing inside and outside of car ($300+) Some issues which still could be done to the car to make it really perfect are- repaint bottom plastic panels (bumpers, door panels and rocker panels) [we can do this for a buyer upon separate agreement]- upholstery repair for the usual driver's seat bolster wear (see photos)- air conditioning service (all A/C parts are present, however it has not been tested or charged) As the car sits presently, it starts and drives fine, and could be driven away if purchased. As these cars are now at least 25, and in some cases more than 30 years old, they have passed the time of being simply 'used cars', and have entered the domain of becoming a true classic, or 'vintage collectible' car. While other Tuning shops are focused on doing swaps and other customization to the 1980's-90's era CRX's and Civics, we are focused on doing correct and proper RESTORATION work to bring these cars back as closely as possible to their original condition and specification as they were when they appeared in Honda showrooms. This is no easy task, as Honda does not support their cars after they have reached this age and virtually no NOS parts are available for the CRX at this point in time. Therefore, we have gone to great lengths to search out, find, and horde as many NOS and good condition used parts for these cars as possible, and also we have developed specific techniques to restore and refurbish parts of the cars (such as the plastic body panels and rubber moldings) that are simply not available anymore.
