For sale is a 2005 Honda Odyssey EX-L, the only missing options are the Back-up Sensor and the Navigation System. We took possession of this car from the original owners (our neighbor) in 2010 with 70,220 original miles. On a long trip, car full of kids & dogs, they locked up the motor after disregarding the temperature gauge - never disregard your temperature gauge. The unit was towed to a Honda dealer in Missouri who provided them a repair quote. They opted to buy a new Odyssey and continued their journey. Knowing the vehicle (and owners) well, I bought it and had it trucked - not towed - from the dealership in Missouri to Thunderbolt/ICT Engines in Houston, TX, where they installed a re-manufactured 3.5 V6 Honda Engine to match the original. I have all receipts. The engine came with a 5-year unlimited mile warranty, which has never come in to play. Thunderbolt is known for their work and I have not been even slightly disappointed. So, to keep our facts straight, the chassis has 115,000 miles, the engine has right at 45-k. The exterior has the bumps and bruises you should expect of a 10-year old city dweller. The interior can only be considered well above average - well above average. The leather seats have no rips, tears, or burn marks (car has never been smoked in). Side panels and door panels are also well above average and the headliner looks like new throughout. The carpet is clean and tight with no loose edges and we have all of the original floor mats. Every control button, knob and switch are original, where they belong and function properly - right down to the tv/dvd remote - nothing is missing, broken or doesn't function...nothing. These things are people movers, it'll handle up to 8 if you're hauling kids and I promise you it's the most comfortable 6-passenger car you'll ever own, heading out on the town or across the country. If you've never owned one of these you will be amazed at the thought Honda put in to these vehicles, right down to storage. I've never owned a car so well thought out, so smartly engineered or so well put together. The car has been professionally maintained locally by Quantum Mechanics (you can look them up on-line) and we have all service records since our purchase. I just picked it up from the shop yesterday: new brakes all the way around, including front rotors, tires rotated and high-speed balanced, oil changed and fluids topped off. I keep my cars in the condition I would send my own family down the road, I wouldn't treat your family any different. This Honda is strong, trouble free and comes with a recent emissions inspection. This is, by far, the best 8-k you'll ever spend on a car.
