It is the final year of this desirable and now iconic body style. That in itself is a very cool find but take into consideration that this car is not hacked up with stereo systems or "performance" parts and is in very nice, near 100% original condition is something else! The pictures tell the story, please take time to look at the 65+ full size photos below including the very clean undercarriage, you can even see the yellow and orange factory paint markings underneath on certain components from the manufacturer, very nice to see. The body of the car is in nice shape, it has been refinished at some time in its life and it looks nice, it is not a 'World of Wheels' or 'Autorama' car show quality finish but it is shiny and nice, not a Maaco special for sure, you will find a few blemishes that are to be expected like a couple small scuffs on the bumper covers or the odd rock chip but nothing that takes away from the very nice looks of the car. Glass is crystal clear all the way around, windshield has a small chip up high (above the 'field of view' on the drivers side but no excessive wear, major pits or cracks, it doen not need to be replaced any time soon). Tires are newer in the front and the rears are good and are off-branded, plenty of tread remaining, alloy wheels are intact and show some signs of aging and the rear right center cap has a scratch in it, nothing really to be bothered with given the age of the car. Lights, lenses and trim are all in good shape, even the factory power antenna works as it should! Inside you will find a clean intierior, the car was owned by a non-smoker so there are absolutely no foul odors or tobacco smells. The leather is in really nice shape for its age and it is all original. Only the drivers seat outside bolster shows some wear, the back seats are very, very nice. The car still has the original factory radio and it all works including the power windows, door locks and cold A/C. Mechanically the car seems to be very sound. If you have ever driven an older Honda, you know that these cars are good for hundreds of thousands of miles. It has the normal 'firm' shifting automatic, engine is smooth and quiet and it goes down the freeway quite nicely. The car is a pleasure to drive. Don't miss this opportunity to own a very hard to find gem, these cars do not come up often and when they do, they are usually nowhere close to having this car's pedigree with a clean Autocheck, one owner southern history, mostly factory original and not modified. It is the final year of this desirable and now iconic body style. That in itself is a very cool find but take into consideration that this car is not hacked up with stereo systems or "performance" parts and is in very nice, near 100% original condition is something else! The pictures tell the story, please take time to look at the 65+ full size photos below including the very clean undercarriage, you can even see the yellow and orange factory paint markings underneath on certain components from the manufacturer, very nice to see. The body of the car is in nice shape, it has been refinished at some time in its life and it looks nice, it is not a 'World of Wheels' or 'Autorama' car show quality finish but it is shiny and nice, not a Maaco special for sure, you will find a few blemishes that are to be expected like a couple small scuffs on the bumper covers or the odd rock chip but nothing that takes away from the very nice looks of the car. Glass is crystal clear all the way around, windshield has a small chip up high (above the 'field of view' on the drivers side but no excessive wear, major pits or cracks, it doen not need to be replaced any time soon). Tires are newer in the front and the rears are good and are off-branded, plenty of tread remaining, alloy wheels are intact and show some signs of aging and the rear right center cap has a scratch in it, nothing really to be bothered with given the age of the car. Lights, lenses and trim are all in good shape, even the factory power antenna works as it should! Inside you will find a clean intierior, the car was owned by a non-smoker so there are absolutely no foul odors or tobacco smells. The leather is in really nice shape for its age and it is all original. Only the drivers seat outside bolster shows some wear, the back seats are very, very nice. The car still has the original factory radio and it all works including the power windows, door locks and cold A/C. Mechanically the car seems to be very sound. If you have ever driven an older Honda, you know that these cars are good for hundreds of thousands of miles. It has the normal 'firm' shifting automatic, engine is smooth and quiet and it goes down the freeway quite nicely. The car is a pleasure to drive. MOVING SALE!2001 Honda Accord LX for sale, 4-cylinder version with 277k miles on it. Runs and drives, tires have about 80% tread, so lots of life on them left. Automatic transmission needs servicing, but goes into all gears. Going full throttle will have the D4 symbol flashing on the dashboard, and go slow. May also get stuck in gear or slip. Otherwise, going slow (like you would in a Honda) won't have these issues happen. Check engine light on because of it, due to solenoids, Easy fix instead of rebuilding the transmission. Clean title, and has passed emissions until 2017. Exterior condition is not so good, sun damage on hood because of Arizona's heat, has minor wear for having many miles. Same is said for interior. Front windows do not roll down, and the rear left window doesn't either, but I think it's just an easy fuse replacement. A/C blows cool too. One thing of note: when replacing the radiator fans, I accidentally got two of the same side, so when you get the car and look closely, the second fan is not in alignment but still works just fine for cooling the engine down when needed.
