This is a rare Volkswagen that it is in pretty rough condition and is being sold for parts, or restore. No rust or collision damage, but lots of dents and scratches, cracked windshield, mismatched wheels, and the interior isn't any better. This was my daily driver for about a year but is parked to due zero compression on one cylinder. I suspect a burned piston and/or valve. Symptoms indicate a teardown is needed and I don't have the means or inclination to do it. Brakes and 5 speed manual trans are good, supercharger is still strong but is also due for routine rebuild. Hood latch and hinges are shot but it has hood pins. Engine was very strong with the boost, before it dropped the one cylinder. Clean Title. Odometer reads 119250, I cannot say if this is correct or not, but the odometer and speedo have been working the whole time I've driven it. Again to be clear it is being sold as is for parts or repair only. It can be started and drove, but is only firing 3 cylinders and should not be driven anywhere but onto a trailer. Pickup is in North Wichita. If you want to arrange freight I will be glad to make myself available to help them load it. This car was sold new in California and ended up in Kansas and has been stored inside for many years. Engine and transmission were removed years ago ...so its being sold as complete car without engine and transmission. Was planning to restore as an Eliminator that's the reason for the 70 front end. The worst part on the cougar are the lower rear quarters. Floor board is solid. Appear to have all origional interior and is complete. Headliner is down and dash pad needs repaired. Drivers seat has some wear spots, the rest of the seats and door panels are good with no tears. Full console. Headlight assemblies will be a separate unit and is a complete front end as seen in pictures. It will make a good car to restore as it has always been stored inside.

Basics: I purchased this Focus ST directly from the older parents of a Porsche club friend, it was sold new in OK and very well taken care of. Never any smoking, pets, or abuse. It has been my daily driver and is a fantastic car in like new condition, including the new car smell. For those not familiar with the Focus ST, it is a loaded 5-door Focus tuned by the Ford Performance group. It features a very responsive turbocharged 2.0L 252 HP/270 lb-ft torque 4-cylinder, smooth shifting 6-speed manual transmission, 18” alloy wheels with high performance summer tires, upgraded suspension and brakes, and unique body styling. It is an incredibly fun to drive car, but can still carry 5 people and get 32 MPG on the highway. Features/Options:ST Standard: keyless ignition and start, Sync with aux/USB/Bluetooth, power windows/locks/mirrors, heated mirrors, traction/stability control, steering wheel controlsST2 Package: Recaro seats, dual zone automatic climate control, My Ford Touch, 10-speaker Sony premium audio with subwooferST3 Package: leather, bi-xenon headlights, navigation, heated seats, Recaro rear seats, ambient lighting, moonroof, GPS navigation Exterior Condition: In nearly like new condition. The only exterior flaws are a few light bug/rock chips and two light scratches on the driver’s side headlight. Otherwise no dents, dings, scratches, etc. Paint is all original and looks fantastic, Performance Blue is a great color and has a nice deep shine. The wheels are free of scratches or curbing and look new. It would pass for a new car. Interior Condition: Quite literally flawless. The ST3 Focus ST is totally loaded with features that you would expect of a much more expensive car. Every feature works exactly as it should. Carpets are like new, and protected by Weathertech floor liners in the front, back, and trunk area. Like new carpet floor mats are included. Plastics are scratch free with no damage. The Recaros are very comfortable and the leather looks like new, no visible wear. Very clean overall. It even still has the new car smell which I love. I will also include a very nice custom fit sunshade. Mechanical Condition: Again, like new. Absolutely no flaws to note. The car has had two synthetic oil changes in its short life, and as you would expect from such low mileage, has needed nothing else. The engine is strong and responsive, making a great burble reminiscent of the European market 5-cylinder Focus RS. Zero warning lights of any kind. The suspension is tight and responsive, with some testers hitting nearly 1 g in magazine testing. Despite the handling capability it is never rough, even on mediocre roads. Brakes are strong and responsive with no noises or pulling and a nice stiff pedal. Steering is tight with fantastic turn-in, it tracks straight down the highway without vibration or pulling. Tires are in excellent condition as you would expect of slightly over 9,000 miles. It is mechanically flawless, and still under factory warranty for peace of mind. Conclusion: If you haven’t figured it out, I really like this car. I’ve been daily driving it, and am only selling to get back into a Porsche. This is essentially a new car for thousands under the new car price, and I will definitely miss driving it. This is a beautiful 4 owner (I am the 4th owner) car with 97K miles. This vehicle runs very well. Mechanically, the car is in very good shape. The only parts I've had to replace on it is the rear tires and the alternator. The body is in great shape as well. There is no rust on this vehicle. The only body defect is that it needs the pin striping replaced and a few small scratches around the door locks. The pin striping is gone on the front bumper and part of the rear bumper. The electronic features also work on this car, with the exception of the stereo. It works, but only one speaker gets sound. It's the original sound system with the body sonic bass. All components are there, but not all function. The electric heated mirrors work, as well as the rear defrost, all wipers, electric windows, drivers seat electric functions, cruise control and the voice that tells you the lights are on or you're low on gas. The Air conditioning even works. This car comes with a couple of boxes of brand new spare parts, including a whole new set of pin striping decals, a bra, leather t-top pouches and vinyl inserts, original jack kit, and more.
