1967 Mercury Cougar, its a V8 automatic, the body is in great shape and is very straight as you can see from the pictures. There are no issues with the engine or transmission, the engine sounds really good (might have to tune the carburetor). The engine compartment is very clean and has not been messed with. All glass is in its place and in good shape, all chrome trim is there and also in good shape.The car has had the floor boards replaced it comes with a nice set of American Eagle rims 5 spoke with brand new tires.The car has a fairly new battery, radiator and it has headers with performance exhaust. It will need new interior as you can see from the pictures but it comes with a new headliner in the box and the original center console. The paint has bubbled up on the rear windshield as you can see in the pictures and also on another small spot on the passengers door. The car hasn't been registered in some time so if your a buyer in California you will be looking at some registration fees, im not sure that this would be the case if you're an out of state buyer. VIN number sequence 7325 indicates that the car is a 1962 Lancer 770 originating from the Los Angeles plant. Odometer reads 58,971 California car for most, if not all, of its life. Not much rust, but there is some on the door sills and in the trunk. Non-original paint is oxidizing. Interior carpet could use cleaning, but all seats are good. Needs front door locks, and door latch assembly work on right rear passenger door. Engine upgraded to a rebuilt 225 by previous owner within the last 10 years. I don't have receipts for that job, but I do have documentation for: shocks, brake rebuild, transmission rebuild and gasket, carburetor rebuild, and fluids back to 1992. It has been my daily driver for over five years without the need for more than periodic tune-ups, rebuilds, and fluid changes.
