1981 VW Rabbit 1.6L Diesel L, manual 4 speed *3 owners, originally from Florida*194,000 mi -- Solid car, runs immaculately. 2,000 of total mileage was towing to and from Colorado to Illinois.*45-50+ mpg*Rebuilt engine at 188,000 mi -- Burns and leaks no noticeable oil*New clutch at 190,000 mi*Paint is good, clear coat is not(chipping off). A tiny bit of rust on back passenger side fender. Car is from Florida originally. *2 separate VW mechanics said it is the best looking undercarriage they have seen on a Rabbit of this generation(meaning very little rust under the car) *Tires are new -- 3,000 miles on them*newer alternatorThis has been my daily driver for 3 years now. I have loved it to no end!!! This is the funnest car I've ever owned, it is very zippy around town and will travel 75 mph gladly. It is in great shape for travelling and I would trust driving it 8 hours hours a time(Me being the limiting factor-- not the car :) ) I am selling it because my mother gave me her old car and I don't have time to do the upgrades to get it to perfection. 1989 pontiac firebird, - ive owned this car for 15 years and always ran full synthetic castrol oil, engine is clean - runs good, has a tapping sound from engine like lifter tapping - transmission is good and has corvette servo - has body rust but none structural - runs and drives, would need radiator small leak repaired before driven too far - make an offer
