1986 PORSCHE 928 S GARNET RED METALLIC288 HP 32V V8 GREAT DRIVING & WELL MAINTAINED ALL ORIGINAL AND NO MODIFICATIONS Here is a fine example of a well maintained garaged kept 928 S . It's condition is above average and original without any modifications or reconditioning . This car has no rust or paint issues aside from a few minor light scratch touch ups and stone chips . The paint is deep and lustrous with gorgeous metallic sparkle . The Engine runs smooth and is ground shaking with its Big V8 torque and thunder . The 4 speed Automatic shifts silky and smooth and is a pleasure to cruise the high speed highways and well as any curvy country road . These cars were built to last and provide luxury sportiness for highway high speed cruising . It glides down the highway solid and sure with the ultimate comfort and confidence that only a Porsche can deliver . No rattles or shakes and quiet yet fierce . It will pull strong and hard from the red light with a 6 sec. 0 -60 and a 14 sec. qtr. mile . Plenty of power to be had and there is still more to tap into with aftermarket tuning available . The interior is crisp even for its age . The driver seat of course has some wear but has no rips or tares and fits like your favorite pair of Jeans . All gauges work and the sound system is very adequate for the era of the vehicle. This car has the original cell phone the came with the car in its compartment . The shifter works fine but the handle could use some attention with the button spring . Temperature control and blower motor work fine . The AC needs a charge as it does not blow cold . All windows and Sunroof operate correctly . The remote key fobs will not open or lock the doors , it is necessary to use the keys for entry. A Florida car kept in excellent condition and maintained like clockwork . All mechanical features operate appropriately ( except clock ) . This car has been adult driven it's entire prior ownership and again maintained to perform as well as it looks ! There are absolutely No Rattles , Squeaks , Shimmies or Clunks . The 351 Cleveland is smooth as a Kitten and as Powerful as a Tiger ! Lots of torque and 60 mph is an easy feather on the peddle . No effort from the engine and the transmission shifts smooth and tight . The steering is straight on and one finger driving is very tempting . A very welcoming driving automobile ! The paint is as beautiful as the pictures display ! It has had a respray 10 years ago and the paint is a high gloss with a deep shine and the Maroon is intense and very attractive to see ! There are a few imperfections ( chips and minor scratches that are retouched and don't really affect the overall quality of the finish ~ also there are two minor 1/4 inch bubbles on the pass side quarter in front of rear wheel ) . (See Picts ) The 429 Hood Scoop is a standout feature on the hood and really sets this Cat up along with the period correct Keystone Magnum 500 wheels . The white convertible top is in excellent condition with only two small stains ( 1") that we couldn't get cleaned . (See Picts ) The undercarriage is very clean and solid without any issues . The dual exhaust is in great condition and all connections are welded ! Rear Tires are New with no miles 235/60/14 . The Fronts are 75% 205 /70/14 The engine compartment is fully detailed and looks showroom new !
