This Pruis has mileage readings of 100mpg for 24 miles (see photos) of low speed driving before Hymotion lithium battery is deplete and the Prius traction battery resumes normal operation. The Hymotion kit was costly, as the kit sells on ebay for $3500. This kit is installed and working great. The kit is made up of a lithium-ion battery system that can be recharged by plugging it into a regular household electrical outlet; when the car is being driven, the supplemental system is recharged from the engine and regenerative braking. If the PHEV battery is depleted, the vehicle resumes normal operation using the factory-installed battery. The addition of the battery pack does not change the basic operation of the Prius -- all electric-operation is still limited to low speeds -- though it does significantly increase the power and range in which the battery can help the gas engine along (thus reducing gas consumption even further). The Hymotion is offering the PHEV upgrade to 5kWh L5 for the Prius.
READ FULL DESCRIPTION: Car is re-listed due to previous buyer not reading full ad. We will not be able to afford to cancel the transaction again. We are selling our 2013 cheverolet spark. It is mechanically sound, however it was in a parking lot fender bender a couple of weeks ago. No structural damage was found and vehicle drove home fine. Low miles, great for first car, we've just out grown it. Ac blows cold. All electronics work, maintenance has been completed by local dealership. Sold as is with existing cosmetic damage. The car could use an alignment. There are a few small interior stains from previous owner. We had seat covers on the seats and they never were an issue for us. We'd prefer local pick up, however buyer may arrange shipping. However we are not responsible for any damage during transit. Title is held electronically by the dealership until payment is received by the buyer. We have to use the purchase price to pay off the vehicle then we can have the dealership/DMV transfer the title to the new buyer.
