IMA light and engine light are on. Code P1449Needs IMA battery. Otherwise runs fine. Still gets 40Mpg without elec assist. Title says Milage unknown. This was because I bought it at auction and the guys couldn't get the odometer to to toggle to the right setting.Once it's there, you can't remove it from the title. The battery is the big issue. Know what you're getting into. This is not ready to be a daily driver CAN be test driven locally. CAN be driven home. Grid charger is currently attached. Add $250 to final price if you want to keep it. This will allow you to trickle charge the IMA battery with household current. Hyrbid Automotive Prolong charger

The following vehicle is brought to you by tannersclassics. 1969 Cougar Eliminator clone. This should be considered a project car. Although it does run and drive it is not road worthy at present. When I purchased the car I thought it may be an actual eliminator but the Marti report did not confirm my suspicion. The car has been in dry storage for the past 20 years. The interior will need a new headliner and carpet. The dash, door panels rear interior panels, rear seat and passenger seat are all good. The drivers seat has a couple holes but is useable as is. The original odometer shows 83,000 miles which the previous owner believed to be accurate. A tach dash was installed and was not hooked up. The car comes with the necessary wiring harness. The car starts right up and is drivable in the driveway. The brakes are not good. The radiator was slightly damaged (repairable) when loading the car. At present it does not hold coolant. The motor is a 351 windsor. It has headers, aluminum intake and a 600 Holley carb. The trans is an FMX, the rear is a 3.00 open. The car has 4 original Ford chrome styled steel wheels, a Ford original eliminator hood scoop. The deck spoiler and chin spoiler are reproductions. There is also a spare FMX trans that goes with the car. The front floors are rusty as are the front frame rails. The rails were repaired with angle iron which is functional but not too pretty. The rest of the underside is fairly solid. This car would make a great project for a father/son. The car comes with two replacement quarter panels, two long, replacement floor pans, new leaf springs, and new coil springs. The hideaway headlights are functional. The car has power steering and drum brakes. This is a great project car with lots of potential and extra parts. I will include free local delivery with the buy it now price.
