1991 GMC Suburban 4x4. This has been my personal transportation vehicle since 2008. It has been well maintained all its life and is mechanically perfect. All running gear is flawless and, in-spite of having over 200K miles, it uses no oil, has no undercarriage fluid leaks, runs cool even in summer and always starts even in cold conditions. Gas shock high clearance 8 inch lifted. In the past two years I have driven it without incident from Colorado to Oregon, California, Eastern North Carolina and, most recently South Florida and Western North Carolina. It is now back in the Boulder, Colorado area. Items done on it in past two years include: New windshield, major tune-up last summer (including new plug wires), new front brakes a month ago, new serpentine belt, a leaky power steering hose replacement, a new Flowmaster muffler, steering column rebuild, etc. It also has an oversize after-market engine fan. Still has excellent compression and power. Things it needs: A new front tire, some minor body work and a new paint job (it's really big and ugly, nicknamed the 'Beast'), a new rear window motor which currently doesn't work, and eventually a right rear window replacement current one is cracked but only in one layer. The engine could also use a top-end as it blows blue smoke for a few seconds when first started cold and occasionally has some minor lifter noise when accelerating uphill. New owner should also have the transmission fluid changed. Also has a very minor exhaust leak on the right side, not sure where. Radio doesn't work, don't know why. Heater fan abruptly stopped working last week, no idea why. It has first generation throttle-body fuel injection and runs extremely well and always has. I am religious about keeping the oil changed, run 20-50 wt oil in it and run lubrication enhancers like Rislone or Lucasoil. Oil pressure always above 30 psi up to 38 psi. Because of the P35 rear tires and the overdrive it gets decent gas mileage, almost 20 mpg on the highway (really!) I can be voice contacted at: 336-938-4267, please no texts
