We bought this vehicle from a customer who didn't want to fix it. We replaced the transmission and the power steering pump and now she's good to go! It does have high miles (192K) but keep in mind the repairs that have been done. It would cost you $2500 to do all that we did on this one, so that makes this SUV an excellent value! Vehicle was purchased as a special order in Carthage, Mississippi in 2003. I was in the auto retail business in Houston, Texas at a large dealership, and consider myself a very good judge of a vehicle's condition, worth, and future expectations. I am a Christian. This vehicle almost looks new from 20 feet away. Up close, you can see a scrape on a couple of bumper corners, like a bump, not really enough to remove paint. In 2012, a "Re-Manufactured" (Jennings)Engine was installed by someone we trusted. No regrets. Shortly thereafter, a "Re-Manufactured" Transmission (Jennings) was installed. Not "Re-Built", which is very different than Re-Manufactured. We have taken care of issues that have come up with the car over the last 12 years as they came up. Tires, LifeTime Front End Alignment, Breaks, Rotors, Front End stuff, etc. Oil Changes. It averages 18-21 miles to the gallon, depending on road conditions, speed, wind, etc. Smooth Smooth Ride. Split back seat tilts forward, or one side up and one side down. Towing Package is excellent and sturdy. Interior has extra plug ins (cigarette lighter?) for use with computer power, Smart Phone Charging, etc. New windshield within last 30 days. Heated and wipered read pop-open glass above pull open tailgate. Up for sale is my folks terrific 2004 GMC Envoy SLE. Another great buy from the estate settlement! (See our other estate sale items) In great shape and runs fantastic. Low miles…only 8400 per year. No mechanical issues whatsoever. Only has a few minor cosmetic issues. Always garaged, always maintained, they did have pets in the vehicle. Has the tow package, never used. 4 Goodyear’s have good tread life left. Cosmetic issues; has 6” tear in the plastic left rear panel, small 2” tear. 3” blemish, scratch above the Envoy emblem. About 3 other minor scratches, my Dad used factory touch up paint pen on them, not a great job, but better than just the scratch! The seat belt and service engine warning lights will not go off. Dad just never bothered to have them fixed. The tint on the passenger window is starting to peel. I noticed on a test drive that, like many cars, it occasionally coughs when the AC is at full.
