This is a very sweet 1969 GMC 2500 Custom Camper Special. This truck is equipped with a factory 396 Big block, a 400 Turbo automatic transmission & a Dana 4:11 Rear end not to mention factory AC. This Truck is a runner, very strong! the transmission was recently rebuilt & new dual exhaust & mufflers were just put on. Drive this Truck anywhere! The Truck sounds sweet! and has mega power! The battery is also new. The interior looks good, the seat has a decent cover over the original upholstery. The original seat looks good , other then the top panel has come apart. The seat with original upholstery can more than likely be saved. The dash is nice with no cracks or tears, the drivers door panel is a little beat up at the bottom ( pictured ) from age. The new owner will also notice a few screws in the side chrome trim, apparently the inner clips must have broken at one time. This is not very noticeable, but I thought best to disclose. The mileage is believed to be 124,329 miles & the Truck has a great set of recent tires, all glass is good. This sweet GMC fires right up & drives very well, no oil leaks or smoke. The oil spots on the ground in the pictures, is NOT from this Truck. All of the glass is very good & the body panels are straight. It has had some small repairs on the bottom of the doors, pretty common with these trucks, patch panels are easily available if you want it perfect. The truck looks great just as it is, at least that's what everyone tells me when I take it out. There is a little rust at the bottom of the fire wall, ( pictured ) the paint looks good, there are some scratches & little dings, but nothing major. I believe it has had one repaint in the same factory color. The wood bed is still there under the bed matt, but there are rotten spots in the wood. The bad wood is not noticeable with the matt over it & the bed can be used. The wood is original to the truck. This Truck has had two owners prior to myself. The original owner was a rancher in the Santa Ynez Valley of California. This classic truck is not perfect, but it's a very nice example of vintage Americana & it's all stock! the factory build sheet is still attached to the glove box door & original owners manual is present. The AC needs to be charged if you can find Freon or convert it. All of the AC plumbing is intact & the compressor works, actually everything works except the AM radio. Look at the pictures closely & ask any and all questions prior to purchase. Pre inspections are welcomed & encouraged. I will require a $500.00 deposit immediately after purchase, let me repeat a $500.00 deposit is due right after purchase..Full balance is due with 72 hrs. three days, no exceptions. The Truck needs to be picked up within ten days, unless other arraignments have been made. You are looking at a 1969 GMC 920 Custom 3/4 Ton Truck. This Truck is a solid driver... & a tight truck all the way around. Have you heard of a 920? normally this would be a 2500 series, but this beauty was born in Canada, they used to build them there & it was brought here in the mid 80's. I have loads of records on this Truck & they verify that the 117,000 could indeed be the original mileage. Under the hood you'll find a 350 GM crate motor that was put in about ten years ago. I have not found that receipt, but believe it to be true. The previous owner sworn that the motor was replaced at 100,000 miles as the owner was anal & figured with a 100,000 miles, who knows! This baby is a powerhouse & super fun to drive. The 350 motor is dressed with a high rise Edelbrock aluminum manifold, a Holley dual feed Carburetor & an electronic ignition & it has dual exhaust. This truck has been adult owned & not abused, there has been some rust repair at the top cab corners & lower doors but the truck looks HOT! These repairs can easily be repaneled as the replacement panels are available as this is a common problem, the floors are solid . The body is straight with a few normal minor little scratches & dings. It appears to have had one repaint & I see no signs of it ever being in an accident. The ignition is operated with the key & a starter button put away in the glove box. The bed still has it's original wood, under the bed liner. I have only seen the bottom of the boards, but they look good. This is a pretty sanitary truck that runs extremely well & starts first time every time. I would seriously drive it anywhere. I am allegedly the third owner, the last owner had it for ten years. If you purchase this Truck I will need a $500.00 deposit via paypal immediately after purchase. The balance is due in full within 72 hrs, three days. The balance can be cash in person, certified funds or a simple bank transfer. The heater is not connected as one of the fittings was broken, so it was re routed. I do have a replacement panel that will come with the Truck.
