2001 GMC 2500HD 4x4 truck. 6' Western snowplow included. Everything works mechanically. Meticulously maintained. The dash was replaced last year by Bommarito GMC in St. Louis Missouri with a used dash that reads 211,000 miles. The actual mileage was 170,000. Any GM dealer can pull the service history for this truck. My uncle bought this truck new in 2001 and sold me the first nice used pickup I ever had. He had it maintained at Bommarito. He had the transmission rebuilt, put new tires on it, and sold it to me a year ago. I mechanically restored what was worn including rebuilding the front suspension, front shocks and steering stabilizer, all new A/C parts, new brakes front and back, brake master cylinder, engine tuneup, new factory style muffler and dual exhaust, exhaust manifold, and some worn sensors, belts, and lines. The steering and suspension are tight and the engine runs good. The exhaust has a good mellow sound slightly louder than stock. All of the lights and switches work inside and out. I spent about $4500 on it and all that remained was body work to finish restoring it. It has a tear in the driver's seat. It has dents in a front fender and many dings from use over the years. They don't get a lot of snow in the central Ozarks so this truck would sit in his shop with the plow hooked up and some bags of salt in the bed. Over time that salt rusted a hole in the bed where water would pool by the cab. It never had a spreader on it, he used a hand spreader, so other than cab corners and one floorpan it isn't rusted out like a typical plow truck. Despite the dings and dents the paint looks shiny because it was stored inside most of the time. The snowplow has been used very little over the years and is in excellent condition. The lights on it are functional but the relays are wired to keep the trucks lights on during plowing. If you prefer the plow lights you have to rewire the relays. I was able to ground a relay and get the lights to come on. I can't take trades on this truck, I moved to a farm last year and I had to by an extended cab GMC 1500 so my wife and I could get out of our gravel road with kids in bad weather. It became an issue when she was expecting a baby. Since we got the extended cab we haven't put 500 miles on this truck in the last 6 months and we've got all kinds of things we could use other than a trade. Call 573-219-0980 with questions.
