Nicely restored 1986 GMC K3500 Crewcab Shortbox. Truck has a 454 with TH400/NP205. Frameoff restoration with no expense spared. Truck has 15,500 miles since complete rebuild. Motor was bored .30 over, heads rebuilt, new intake, new carb, new ignition, headers, and exhaust with flowmasters. Transmission and torque converter were rebuilt with a new transmission cooler, aluminum transmission pan, as well as rebuilt transfer case. Frame was professionally shortened to make it a shortbox. Both differentials were rebuilt and at that time, a Eaton posi installed in the rear. Front is a Dana 60 and rear is a Corp 14. It has never seen a gravel/mud road. To build a comparable truck, it would take upwards of $25,000 in parts/paint alone. If you can find a crewcab shortbox of similar build quality for less, buy it. I am only selling it because I would like a previous vintage crewcab. I strongly encourage you to view the truck in person first.
