PRICE REDUCED, MUST SELL!!! Started this truck today and drove it over 20 miles...I would trust this truck to drive anywhere. Runs Great!!! Shifts Great!!! All gauges work great!!! I am selling everything and this nice 1954 GMC Model 630 Truck is next to go. I purchased it from a Fire Dept. in Kansas City, Missouri and drove it home to Alabama. This truck was used as a Fire Department Pumper Truck with a 1000 gal. water tank and pump installed. The original Owner's Guide/Manual is included and pictured. 21000 lb. rear axle rating, 8000 lb. front axle rating. This truck is super strong with overdrive transmission. I removed all the fire dept equipment and installed a custom steel bed. The bed was setup as a lift bed, but I did not install the lift cylinder and do not have the cylinder. I also removed the dangerous two piece wheels and purchased and installed brand new truck wheels and new tires. The truck has only 26,848 miles and the mileage is correct. I spent over $2500 getting the grill components rechromed and have spent over $2500 on tires and wheels. The steel bed was purchased and installed for $1800. I also installed a new fuel tank and electric fuel pump. The motor is a 503 Cubic Inch original 6 cylinder. This truck has extremely high torque and pulling ability. All gears work well and brakes are excellent. I have not repainted the truck and the light wiring for the rear lights needs to be connected. The wires are there, but not connected. There is no rust and this is a very solid old truck. Great for farm or hauling jobs. This would make a good car hauler with a rollback bed installed. I have included pictures of moving a 24 foot box bed with this truck. I have not installed the newly chromed grill. The interior is excellent and complete. All glass is good. The wiper motors have been removed. This is a good truck to build to show quality...a great start. Runs great, highway tested. Drive it anywhere.
