1999 Ford Windstar LX Van as is. Very clean in excellent condition inside and out. Mechanically has had many issues dealt with but developed one yesterday. Either has a head gasket or intake gasket leak. Traded a car for it this month as it was sitting for a year and looked too good to salvage. Had to get it roadworthy before it could be driven. Water pump leaked bad and power steering leaked real bad too. Replaced both (lots of fun there) Drove it a total 23 miles short back and forth to get a feel for it and got water mixed in oil. It was not coming out of exhaust and did not overheat. Coolant disappeared into crankcase. I checked it every time it was driven and it just happened within 5 miles of contamination. I have not yet pulled anything apart but am fixing to if we get no response to this listing. I may repair it even though at this point I am pretty sick of it. In the event I do a tear down all parts will be placed in the back of vehicle in order. It needs repair the oil looked like a butterscotch milkshake. Presently runs great and can be started to prove it. It ran great until I checked oil. Didn't even show a check engine light. I drained the oil and water and brand new oil filter as it was contaminated. So far I have done the following: new battery from AutoZone one expansion plug (engine heater plug replacement) motor for driver window installed works great new water pump and pipes immediately connected to it. complete rack and pinion unit and new tie rod ends alignment at Alternative Automotive new brake caliper on front driver side 3 new exhaust hangers oil and filter serpentine belt I am not including my labor (everything done properly and by shop directions). I simply want the money in parts back. I am disappointed and after all that someone else can have the head gasket/top end tear down I have reached my limit at this point. I may cool off in a few days and repair it and pull the listing. Best Offer gets it right now. Cash. No checks or trades or cons. If you are honest this is a great deal for the right person. I am very honest and hard working and put a lot into this. If you are dishonest you are coming to the wrong place. You want to screw me or play me go somewhere else I will not play well with you. I am in law enforcement. This is not a dare me I mean it. Promise. Good fresh title and paperwork. Just registered this month as well. A whole year on registration yet to go. I have done a tremendous amount of work on this van. It was for my wife and I tried very hard to do everything correctly. It apparently had other issues I was not told of when I traded. I am telling all so it doesn't keep going. I have said exactly what I know and I do not know otherwise. The van is in a lot better potential condition than when I started on it and did not drip a drop of anything when completed. It drives great and good brakes and transmission. Cold air and good heat. All accessories work and clean inside and outside. Good spare. No check anything lights on. Just very recent water in the oil. Windshield has a crack in it. Rest of glass is perfect. The body of this van is beautiful and near perfect, and the reason I am undecided as to it's fate. I spent at least 2-3 weeks straight working on this and now am looking at another couple weeks. I have many jobs and this is a part time "when I can" project so it takes away from fun time majorly. I traded the time on this for my vacation this year so yes I am displeased to put it mildly. No low balls please. I want my money back as invested that is all I ask. I am giving the many hours I spent free. Please respect that. This van runs will need to be towed. It was shut down prior to further damage. Transport is buyers sole responsibility.
