This will not be a fancy ad, one filled with the history of the Thunderbird, instead let me cut to the chase. This was purchased by a Thunderbird club member at the local Ford dealer and immediately became the pride and joy of my friend. He bought the Thunderbird a beautiful set of 4 wire wheels (original wheels are also included) and the car is fully loaded with both hard/soft tops, hardtop cart and tonnaeu etc...and drove it sparingly while keeping it in near mint condition whilte always garaged. The owner passed away and his wife would like to see this car sold to someone who would enjoy it as much as her husband. 1966 Ford Thunderbird Town Hardtop- No RESERVE . Originally burgundy color, recently hand sanded and painted with gray epoxy primer.The car starts no problem, runs nice and drives. New- all 4 tires Reconditioned radiatorRebuilt carburetor and new air cleanerRebuilt starterNew- spark plugs.New- fuel tank New- sending unitNew Brake booster2- Fender skirts for rear wheelsAll 4 original Thunderbird Hubcaps Car is being sold with an additional Dashboard and 2 complete leather Front Seats, in addition to the seats already in the car. Aftermarket Rear Air Shocks, reinforced with steel plate at upper mounting pointsIt has sequential tail lights and swing away steering column. It has not been registered since 1977.It has a noisy rear differential and will need to be rebuilt.Previous owner replaced brake cylinders and hoses. Brakes feel spongy but don't go all the way to the floor. Will need to be gone through and bled.Floor pans appeared to have been patched 10 + years ago, not professionally done, decent repair. I started to replace the vacuum lines, one at a time, that lead to the vacuum manifold under the dash. I also ran new vacuum line between the motor and the vacuum reservoir in the front right fender.Sequential taillights do not currently work, all relays present, not tested.Power window motors can be energized with a power probe but do not actuate windows, needs gears replaced.All interior trim pieces are inside the car and center console kick panels are in the trunk as well as overhead console with switches.I also have the electric switch cluster from the center console for the power windows- used and all 4 switches show continuity on a multimeter

The car is in beautiful shape. It was purchased in 1966 by its current owner and has been garage kept since. It has every option available at the time. This is a beautiful example of a 1966 TBird with 64,000 original miles. It was used as a family car for about 8 years and has been stored since, only driven in parades, car shows, etc.
