Feel free to call with any questions you may have. 1 909 855 7853 My dad bought this BEAUTIFUL Bird early on in 1987. My mom drove it for a few months as a daily driver but had a close call on the freeway driving it while she was pregnant and decided she would park it and drive a bigger car for the time being. The car then sat in our collection for almost 2 decades before we decided to restore it. The car has VERY low miles (25,000) and was a completely rust free car that honestly didnt need too much but we decided to do it anyway. It has always been stored indoors or under something, for the last 12 years of its life it has sat in our private climate controlled car collection and gets started and rotated. Please view the photos and note that this Bird is far nicer than most out there. The rocker panels are as nice as the tops of the fenders. The car also comes with a very nice, soft tan flannel custom fit car cover. Thanks for looking and God bless. 1965 Ford Thunderbird, stripped to bare metal and repainted in BASF Mercedes Palladium Silver and Iridium Silver. Many new parts, listed below. Featured in 2016 Snap-On Calendar and 2016 BASF Calendar, autographed by George Barris. Love the car, tons of best of show trophies, but our interests have changed. The engine panels and trunk panels are not stock, but can be removed to return the car to a more stock appearance if desired. The car was valued and insured at $29,000, policy in effect. This 1956 Ford Thunderbird hard/soft top convertible is a CLASSIC sports car! Tires, wheels and finish on this vehicle are exceptional, sure to please the most discerning buyer. I'm only selling it because I recently downsized and have no place to store it in the new home. Always stored indoors. The T-Bird is located in Kokomo, IN and is available for inspection prior to the auction close. A true classic and exceptional example of American engineering. This 1956 Tbird is an original, California car that had been a member of the Beverley Hills Car Club (2013) and is currently registered in Ontario (Canada). The car starts and runs excellent. You will note from the pics that the engine is clean but not completely restored. Fresh paint with original color (fiesta red). The body is in great shape. Comes with hard top (incomplete but freshly sprayed last week) and soft top (after market). There is a difficult to notice tear (2 inches max) that has been repaired with dakron (sail) tape in the soft top. 1963 Thunderbird, Limited Edition, Principality of Monaco. 2000 were manufactured and #1 went to Princess Grace Kelly and Prince Rainier of Monaco, #2 went to one of their relations. As you can see in the photos this one is #1194. Various web sits say there are only about 50 remaining. This one is about 97% restored and is beautiful. Body is absolutely straight, and chrome is fantastic for a 53 year old car. Has a 390 engine and prior owner changed the carburetor to a two barrel. This is a rust free California car! The automatic transmission was rebuilt in March this year as was the power steering pump with new seals and a new hydraulic line. I purchased a set of five (5) original Kelsey Hayes wire wheels in excellent condition with spinners (4). Tires are Firestone like new. All of the following new items have been installed in the last few months; Bucket Seat Foams, Rose beige carpet, valve cover gaskets, right side mirror, bucket seat skirts and hinge covers, dash cap, both wind wing deflectors, battery cables, wiper blades, refurbished brake system , new wheel cylinders, brake line and rear axel seal, complete tune-up, retractable seat belts and new carpet and speaker grill on rear package tray. No body work is needed. The white color of the exterior is not Corinthian White as it should be. Work needing to be completed is the windshield wiper hydraulic system, all components are there but needs troubleshooted. Heater system controls need the same thing done, no leaks in the system now. power seat will need to be looked at as well. Other minor items to point out is : there are a few small paint chips, the are signs of minor surface rust under the paint in a couple of places. there are a few places where the chrome has small pits. This is a restored 1962 Ford Thunderbird Hard Top that I have owned since 1980. It was an International Thunderbird Club 1st place winner in 1999 at the Indianapolis Indiana International Show designating it a senior car. It scored 298 ½ points out of 300. It is a beautiful rare Sahara Rose with Beige Interior. Power Windows and power left seat but no Air Conditioning.
