Selling part of my collection. This is an original vintage Baby Bird, born April 17, 1956. Exterior is Colonial White (E). Engine and transmission (P 225hp) original as with everything else. In general we would have to call this car a nice presentable driver. The paint is shiny with a few minor blemishes here and there. Chrome is all good and shines well. The Red and White (XB) interior is very presentable, with correct carpet, seat cover and headliner The engine bay appears to be largely correct but could use a thorough detailing and refinishing of a few parts. Passenger and trunk floors look good. New tires and good exhaust. Lights work and guages work. Frame is straight and true!There are components that do not work, windshield wipers, electric seat, radio, power steering and few minor other items. Speedometer just went poop. You can hear cable turning a gear in the speedometer head. There is a company in Concord CA. that rebuilds these. Only thing monkeyed with are two glass packs and coiled shocks in the back.The car runs and drives very well for a 50's car. The engine pulls strongly with no noises. The automatic transmission shifts crisply. Brakes all seem fine and stop. This would be a good car for someone who wants a classic TBird driver or good specimen for a full blown restoration project.
