You are looking at a beautiful 1963 Thunderbird hardtop, turquoise through and through! This car has been garage kept in the family since 1990. The pictures should say it all, but I will do my best to provide full disclosure of the vehicle. Mechanical:This car runs beautifully! Engine has less than 1000 miles on it. Short block has been rebuilt and restored. Under the hood has seen a lot of work. The carburetor is newly rebuilt. Intake manifold has been upgraded to high performace Edelbrock. The air horn and valve covers have been powder coated their gold color. The engine bay has been repainted. Original Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed transmission. Exhaust system is in great shape. Tires have 80% tread.New parts :-starter-battery-spark plugs-hood insulation thrown in as a bonus Exterior:The paint is original! (with exception of under the hood and skirts) The negative to this is that the car has accumulated quite a few scratches and dings over the past 52 years. I tried to capture most of these in the pictures. This car has minimal rust considering it's age. There are spots beneath the rear window (typical for this model). There is also some rusting on the trunk bed, passenger side (see pictures). Much of the underside of the car has been treated with an anti-rust rubberized coat.Note the bumper is slightly out of align. The car also sags a bit to the right. Interior:This bird has an eye-catching two-tone turquoise interior! The front seats have been reupholstered and look great. Back seats are still original; slight discoloring there. This car has its original sliding steering wheel, a very cool feature. The dash has some warping isn it which is hard to see in the pictures. Various pieces of the interior have discolored at different rates, so some pieces don't quite match. Driver armrest is worn. Windows are automatic. The front windows work great, but the rear quarter windows are non functioning. Fuel gauge and clock do not currently work. Trunk: Needs some work. See pictures where anti rattle padding was attached to the trunk, which will need removed. There is still the original trunk liner, which is quite worn out. Additional parts: I have accumulated quite a few extra parts for the vehicle that we can negotiate on if you're interested upon sale. Questions are most welcome. 1964 Ford Thunderbird Street rod. This car has been completely rebuilt with lots of upgrades and brand new parts. It has front disc brakes and a dual master cylinder conversion as well as a proportioning valve added. All new brakes, front suspension has been lowered and has new shocks, ball joints, drag link Etc. Rear suspension has been lowered and has new shocks. Whole underside of car has been cleaned and bed linered. Engine is the 390 big block Fe. Its been rebuilt and has a custom grind oversized cam as well as the upgrades rocker arm shaft with roller rockers. Has eldebrock performer RPM intake and matching carburetor. Engine has been custom painted to match car. Transmission has been upgraded to a C6 with full rebuilt and shift kit and custom stall converter, also painted to match all the drive line. car is wrapped with 20 inch retro style hot rod wheels. Custom two tone paint job with black and dark truder red base and clear coat. All new fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel pump and sender. Custom auto meter gauges fit the dash as well as steering column rebuilt with a custom leather steering wheel.
