This car was originally in Tucson, Arizona where rust is not a problem. I purchased this car with the intent of restoring it in my retirement, however, my back has been giving me too much trouble. The front suspension has been rebuilt. All new ball joints, tie rod ends, and control arm bushings. New brakes front and rear with new wheel cylinders. New fuel pump and a factory restored period correct carburetor. I have a rebuilt wiper motor but cannot install it because of my back. It runs good and is a real eye catcher. Removeable top only.

1966 Ford Thunderbird 1966 Ford Thunderbird, 66000 miles, Exterior: Maroon, Interior: White, Landau. This car is a rare 428Q with a C-6 Transmission. Factory Equipment: Front Disc Brakes, Power Steering, Cruise Control, AC, Power Windows, Six Way Electric power seats, electric antenna and AM/FM Stereo radio with CD changer. This is an original car with 66,000 original miles. Repainted with original color (Metallic Maroon) in 1990. Has Black Vinyl top & has been garage kept for at least 28 years. The interior is original white (Parchment) color. New carpeting and floor mats were installed recently. The following has been done in the last 3 years: Suspension: New springs, shocks, ball joints, etc. Brakes: New disc pads, calipers, rear lining , wheel cyclinders, brake lines, etc. Engine: Complete rebuild to include "high temp" valve seats. Transmission: Complete rebuild to include new torque converter. Note: None of the above listed work was really necessary but I wanted to be certain that the car is road worthy.
