1956 Ford Thunderbird This is a beautiful 1956 Ford Thunderbird. It is finished in Peacock Blue and white interior. It has a matching blue porthole hard top. It also come with a like new white soft top. This car retains all its original sheet metal and is solid as a rock. The car was originally purchased in California and came to Arizona in 1969. It is a 2 owner car and comes with its original bill of sale. The gorgeous Peacock Blue paint and interior are in excellent condition. The chrome and trim are also in very good condition. This T-Bird has been meticulously cared for. It recently came out of an estate of a gentleman who lovingly cared for the car. Mechanically the car is in excellent condition. The engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt. It has been driven about a 1000 miles since the rebuild. Overall this 1956 Thunderbird is a great car and a real pleasure to drive. Offering a well restored 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This car restored to original ford specifications by Craig Danielson a local T-Bird enthusiast. The car was restored over several years with Craig completing most of the work for himself. He changed the car from Turquoise to Torch Red because he is color blind and the red was visually appealing to him. He completely restored the car closely following the Thunderbird authenticity concourse checklists. This included zinc plating all the nuts and bolts top and underneath. He deviated a little by installing a Mustang rear axle, five blade radiator fan and gel battery. This first year Bird 292 cu is great to drive with power steering and brakes and new shocks. Included are an updated white soft top, original red hard top, 3 sets of optional wheel covers (wire, emblem and small dog dish hubcaps) and original owner’s manual. The paint was done by Todd Hood { a well respected auto body painter in Tucson } several years ago with the car being garaged since the restoration. Have the receipts for the work completed on the car as well as some photo documentation.
