Here We Go Friends, For Sale , 2002 Ford Taurus SES ,Runs Great! A few dings and dents but all-in-all nice car. Leather interior all the bells and whistles of the ses model. Power windows, power drivers seat, ice cold a/c , am/fm/cd, power sun/moon roof (no leaks), large trunk, fold down rear seats to put long items in trunk, key-less entry with three key fobs, intermittent wipers power steering, power breaks, V 6 24v DOHC and more. That all the good stuff. not so good stuff, rear defrost not working and abs light is on reed the codes, says it needs right front and left rear wheel speed senor (about $50 a piece) I have no time to get these done. So that's it in a nut shell any other questions send me a message. Selling because I bought a Jeep Cherokee and already have a pick-up truck so the Taurus has to go. If anyone of you were watching this listing previouslyplease take note of changes in the description.So here's the story with this car:I bought this from my friend who had no more use for this car since he now gets a company car.It was back in February of 2015.I bought it for my son as an incentive for him to do his chores and do well in school.He didn't live up to his side of the bargain so my wife and I decided to sell it.No-one offered to pay what the car was actually worth until another friend of mine lost his car.He didn't have money up front so I gave him monthly payments. A day after he had it the transmission died. I didn't have money to repair it at the time so it's been sitting in my front yard for a month. I start it and drive around the block a couple times a week just to keep it from rusting.I replaced the transmission recently and have the bills for everything including the battery, wipers, brakes, tires and tranny.Updated 10/28/15I wasn't happy with the replacement tranny that I put in so I had the repair shop rebuild and install my original transmission. So, now the car comes with a 12 month/12,000 mile warranty on the transmission only as well as a spare transmission that was just repaired. It is in the trunk of the car at the moment.I also got the dent fixed by MAACO. Real good job! No trace of the minor damage that was there on the front driver's side fender.This will make a perfect work car as it was previously used just for that purpose. My friend used to drive from Brooklyn to Staten Island 4 times a week from 2002 to 2015.The mileage is accurate and I will guarantee that it was a one owner car prior to my owning it.If you decide to do a CARFAX on this car and you end up buying it, I will refund you the CARFAX fee!!!!!Good luck bidding and if you have any question please feel free to call me at 347-742-8003 Phil
