Up for sale is our 2007 Ford Taurus SE in very beautiful and rare Light Tundra Green. This has been my wife's daily driver since 2008. It was purchased as a fleet lease return at Jarrett-Gordon Ford in Winter Haven, FL. It has always been in Florida, so it it a rust-free Florida car. We are only selling this low-mileage Taurus because my wife works for a government agency and they now have electric car charging stations right in her work parking lot. So, we bought an electric vehicle to take advantage of the free charging. The A/C was just repaired (new A/C condenser) and works fine now, the front tires (Hankook Optimo H727's) are at about 80% tread, and the matching rear tires at about 50% tread. The car drives perfectly well. It has always had oil changes every 3000 miles and been serviced by professional service technicians. Interior has no rips, tears, or even stains. It's as clean as you could ask for. Here are the few issues it currently has: - The check engine light is on saying the gas cap is loose. I had this checked, and the top of the fuel filler pipe has a slight ding in it. The smoke test revealed that it is letting just enough fumes to escape as to trigger the check engine light. Mechanic said the pipe would need to be changed in order to turn off the light. This in no way affects how the car drives or performs. - There is a slight transmission fluid leak from one of the seals. It has been doing this for probably a year now. I've only had to add a quart of fluid in that time. Mechanic said it's not worth fixing unless it gets worse, just add fluid when necessary. - During the last oil change, the mechanic told me that one of the axle boots has a slight tear. He said to just leave it until the axle starts making noise and then replace it with a reman axle. - Windshield Washer fluid squirts out weaker than it should. It seems that the hose carrying the washer fluid to the nozzles is loose and lets air into the system. I just haven't had this fixed yet. - Shown in the last 2 photos are the door dings on the driver's rear door and one or two on the quarter panel. Also, I had to touch-up a small area of paint bubbling on the edge of the same quarter panel bordering the trunk lid. Overall, the car looks and drives very well. It is in condition to drive anywhere. I would say it's much better than average for the model year and mileage. My wife has had no significant problems with it.
