I will include a set of new headlights and tail lights with the sale.It needs a new coolant temp sensor, the tach and radio power wired. The power was wired to the dimer switch and would pop fuses. The clutch needs adjusted. The bed has a few cracks which could easily be fixed with some duraglass or replaced as the stepside beds have fenders. The paint could be redone or driven as is, there is absolutely no rust and the truck runs and drives great. For 4500 it's a good deal but I do have some room to work. 1998 Ford Ranger, 5 speed. Runs great! ONLY 110,000 miles! When I bought it in 2011 it had 102,000 miles, so it hasn’t been driven much. The past couple years, I’ve only used it to buy mulch and haul things once in a while. The first year I had it I put new tires on, new lower ball joints, front shocks, leaf springs, sway bar, control arm, air filter, spark plugs (with tune up,) and new ignition wires, gaskets, and new brakes. It also had the power steering flush service. It has a new battery this year, and new brake lines and windshield wipers. I have the paper work for all this work, over $2400 worth of parts and labor. I also had the exhaust system partially replaced, but I can’t find the paper work for that. There are nicks and scratches on the body, typical of a truck this age, and some a-hole keyed the right side a while back. There’s no body rust that I can see, though there is some bumper rust. The interior is in nice shape, although the driver’s seat is cracked. I kept meaning to go to a pick-a-part place and get a couple bucket seats from an Expedition but never got around to it. I think they’re about $90 each. Like I stated before, the truck runs great, and has a very strong engine. It’s got some get up and go. If you’re looking for a pristine show truck, this ain’t it, but if you’re looking for a great truck with LOW mileage that has been well cared for and will last awhile, then this is the one you want. 1996 FORD RANGER "SPLASH" EDITION This is a great little economical truck, 4cylinder with a 5 speed manual transmission, cold air, heat works also, no leaks or smoke. Has a few scratches here and there and as I mentioned earlier the original seats have some stains and a small what looks like cigarette burn. Didn't even try to clean, we had installed some slip on covers for now. Remainder of the interior is very nice, all glass is good. I haven't owned the truck very long so don't have much history to tell you. There is no rust, frame is clean underneath, engine bay also clean showing no leaks, looks like it has been taken care of. Truck has an aftermarket am/fm/cd stereo radio with remote. The truck drives fine and I am sure it will make somebody a nice little truck. I have put a buy it now so you know where I am at on price. Keep in mind this is a 1996 and not a new truck, I recommend you come look and see and drive before purchasing.
