1967 Ford Ranchero 500XL 390 This is rare Ranchero please see the Marti Report one of 40 in this Paint and Trim code originally a Texas vehicle that ended up in Alabama where I purchased it and moved it to Maryland a few months ago. Please look at all the pictures and ask any questions you might have before you bid, it makes it easier for both of us. I am moving back to the West Coast and would rather sell it than transport it home. Cons · Looks like the new gas tank is installed in correctly upside down just noticed that when I was looking at the pictures · Power Brake booster and correct master cylinder are missing · Somebody switched the seats looks like Galaxies seats to me · One of trim piece on Passengers bed rail needs to be replaced · Has new Holley carb not the correct Autolite 2100 · Missing A/C compressor · Somebody added the 390 power bulges to the hood · Power steering has developed a leak and I haven’t figured out what it needs. · Pad is cracked needs to be restored · Paint is wrong check the Marti Report clear coat is blistering · Driver side toe board has holes see picture also the area behind the seats where the spare tire goes has been repair inside with silicone must have leaked over the years-see picture of the passenger side floor pan. If you look at the picture of the rocker panel on the passenger side it has been effected as well. Pros · Very low production numbers one of 40 · Minimal Rust · Body is pretty straight · 4 New tires · New front bumper-comes with the original as well · Many new parts door panels/brakes/gas tank/carb etc. · Runs and drives · Most of the trim script pieces come with the car I will add a picture later · Power Steering · Power Front Disc Brakes · Tinted Glass · A/C · Limited slip 3.00 rear · Courtesy Light Group This Ranchero in my opinion need to be taken back to its original color and the restoration process finished and you would have one unique vehicle. Once again please ask any questions you might have and good luck bid often and bid high.*Ranchero is in Phoenix now* God Bless Call if you have questions 301-997-8799

There is a new fuel pump an inline filter. The car is an original air conditioned car with the vents in the dash. It is a complete car that has not been dismantled or molested. One of the original wheels is missing and the car has a set of rolling tires. This is a clear title original black plate california car currently on non op status with CA/DMV. There is surface rust no rusted through areas anywhere. The It needs body work, headlamp and tail lamp bezel, and a new grill. Needs paint and interior too. The car has a repairable fiberglass tonneau cover and a nice shell in good condition. A time capsule- this unrestored car has original paint, interior, drivetrain, wheels, and trim! Crystal clear AM tunes from the Philco. Many factory markings still exist. the firewall, radiator, cylinder head, and alternator have wax pencil markings. Paint marks can still be seen on the wheels, drivetrain, frame, and suspension parts. It still has the original valve cover gaskets, as the edges still show blue paint. It still has the original keys with the key tag! History: A rare find, this survivor 1972 Ranchero was originally sold new in Broomfield Colorado. The vehicle spent the first 25 years of it's life with the 1st owners in Colorado until it was sold on August 23rd, 1997. At the time of first resale this Ranchero had 35,972 miles on it. The second owner drove it 110 miles north to Cheyenne where the car has remained. In the glove box with the original owners manual is a receipt for the muffler and tailpipe replacement from 1997. (The headpipe is still original) A note indicates that the original tires were also replaced that year with it's first set of Goodyear radials that are still on the car today and in amazing condition. I came across this truck at Spradley Barr Ford September this year where the 2nd owner had traded it and 2 other classics for a newer vehicle. The miles when I first drove it was 39,353. What it needed: When I drove the Ranchero at the dealer it was leaking fuel from the accelerator pump on the carb and soon after, fuel was leaking from the original fuel pump. I had the dealership pump all the fuel out of the tank. I replaced the fuel pump, fuel filter, and all rubber fuel lines under the hood. All spark plugs were replaced. I was able to drive in town and on the highway up to 70mph with no problems. Once at my house found the master cylinder had been leaking down the front of the brake booster and both side rear wheel seals and brake wheel cylinders began leaking. I replaced the master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders, rear brake shoes and flushed the brake lines. I also pulled the booster, cleaned and repainted it. I also drained the coolant from the radiator and block, removed an aftermarket block heater, replaced the heater hoses, replaced hose clamps and radiator cap with originals from Macs, and refilled the system with new coolant. What has been done before: After going over the car I noticed that the rear springs, shocks, coil, points, plug wires, and muffler have been replaced at some point before I bought it. Condition: Overall the car is incredible shape for it's age. It drives and handles like new, plenty of power, shifts are firm. It does have minor body and paint damage as seen in the photos. The most wear/tear is on the inside of the tailgate and it's trim. There is a long thin dent on the drivers door. The passenger fender has a slight buckle in front of the wheel opening. The front valance under the bumper has a few dents. There are small dings and scratches all over. All considered, if you stand back 20 feet most of these imperfections disappear. There is some minor rust thru under the battery area on the lower radiator support. The pinion seal on the rear differential leaves a drip or two after driving, no other leaks. It had a topper on it at some point and where it contacted the cab and bed trim can be seen. many of the scratches were brush touched by the original owner on both the brown and black. I have done my best to describe this car as accurately as possible, if you have any questions or concerns, ASK BEFORE YOU BID! This is a used vehicle and is being sold as-is. $1000 deposit required within 48hrs of auction's end. Remaining balance due within 10 days after auction's end. Buyer is responsible for pick up at my home or setting up and paying shipping from my home.

Remarkably clean 1972 FORD Ranchero 500. An unmolested CALIFORNIA Ranchero since new, with original factory A/C and good miles, not customized but tastefully refurbished with a classy, non-intrusive mild restoration, without altering its original components. This 500 is an ALL-MATCHING NUMBERS to its VIN. It is a body code 97D originally sold in San Jose, CA in 1972 ( DSO 72 ). Color code is marked as 9A, and 159,812 in the unit build assembly line. This is a very straight example that looks very sharp despite it being an older restoration ( around 2009). Original 156K miles on the chassis, and about 29K miles on a rebuild, which included: ISKY cam and lifters CLOYES timing chain Custom-made headers and performance dual exhaust ( with GT bumper) Edelbrock dual-plenum intake HOLLEY 650 High-flow TRW oil pump Three-angle valve job by Jerry Neil White machining Crank ground, chamfered and balanced Carrillo mains and rod bearings Short block assembly by JNW machining There are numerous other mods done, to include a rebuilt C4 automatic transmission with a B&M Shift kit installed, B&M shift improver, new modulator, etc. Mileage on the transmission is about the same as the engine. It shifts perfect, with no slippage, lag or chatter, and NO clunking going into reverse or any forward gear. Super heavy-duty 9" Ford rear, with what I think was 3:5o ratio( I'm sorry, it's been a while). New axle bearings, axle seals, HD re-balanced driveshaft, Lakewood U joints, SKF front and rear wheel bearings, etc. The body of this Ranchero is extremely straight, with no rust of chassis, frame, floorboards, door panels, fenders, quarters, tailgate or hood. Very good-quality re-spray in its original yellow factory finish, very well done. It still glows like it was just painted. ALL body panels line up very well, doors close smoothly, the hood and tailgate are smooth and rust-free. Most of the original chrome is still there, but I am missing a couple of bits as pictured. I misplaced the front turn signals ( if I find them, I will include them), and a couple of trim pieces; otherwise, the car is 99% complete and original. The interior is very clean as pictured, with two-tone black & bone inserts on the professionally reupholstered seat and door paneling. Excellent headliner and sun visors. MINT original dash. AUTOMETER tach nicely mounted in-dash, and auxiliary instruments mounted on the left window pillar. 15" CRAGAR alloys with decent radial tires ( approximately 70% tread); sidewalls have a few small weathering cracks from age. Tires are cheap these days anyway, and most folks have their own preferences, thus I am leaving them as they are. Overall, a CLEAN 72' 500, the one to own, with the unique shark nose, GT hood, GT rear bumper and nice custom interior. Reasonably priced compared to everything else on the market, allowing for a savvy buyer's personal touches and improvements, while still a VERY CLEAN ride, with a lot more than my asking price in upgrades alone. I am a motivated seller, and I am willing to consider SERIOUS offers, thus I reserve the right to end this auction at any time, if a BUY-IT-NOW or a serious offer presents itself. Please, do not ask what I would take for the car; I am not looking to recover what I have spent, let alone total cost. I am selling my Ranchero to fund finishing of my old 66' Land Rover 109 LWB restoration ( I am not in any dire need of cash, and would prefer to convert this Ranchero into funds for my 109). If you are indeed a serious, potential buyer, and know what a clean 72' Ranchero is worth, I am reasonable and will consider a SERIOUS bid. This Ranchero has a clear California title, and has been in non-operating status for the last five years ( I have been deployed more times than I have had time to spend driving it and tinkering with it), and it is not regularly driven. That being said, it starts right up, and drives fine. Besides some basic servicing and perhaps a fresh tune, it is turn-key. I shall be glad to assist coordinating shipping of the FORD Ranchero anywhere nationwide or overseas, at the most economical shipping rate available. Please be aware, I do not control pick up or delivery times should you purchase it; that is pending weather conditions and shipping/ trucking delivery schedules. I will do everything I can on my end to ensure and expedite delivery at the most financially sensible rate on the market. Should you be the winning bidder, I would like t receive payment within THREE business days, please. Payment can be made via cashier's check or certified funds. Personal, business or annuity checks may be utilized, but must clear funds first, prior to any transportation arrangements being made. An alternate method of payment can be done via bank wire transfer to my local CHASE Bank branch here in town. It is a very simple process, and it helps expedite delivery of the car. Upon receipt of payment, I will mail you the title and a Bill of sale to the car. Feel free to EM or call me with questions or serious inquiries at (650) 430-4660, no later than 9 pm PST, please ( I have kids that go to school early and go to bed early). Thank you all for your interest, and hope to find this cool Ranchero a loving home soon. Pics and description coming shortly.
