Ok here we have desirable all STEEL 35 Ford pickup built with some great parts. Very solid and straight chassis sporting the rare 3:54 gears in a stock 35 banjo rear end that has been gone through. A 39 gear box that is also fresh with new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bearing. An 8BA is in front of it all with a fresh 94 carb, a set of headers, new water pumps and 12 volt gennie to make it look period. All cooled down with a rebuilt radiator which keeps it running at 180. All new exhaust and short glass pack give it a great wrap. There is an electric fuel pump but still maintains the original look with the original pump in tact. There is also a pressure regulator back by the new gas tank and all new fuel lines. The brake system is all new or rebuilt with new lines, hoses, master cylinder, wheel cylinders and some shoes. This is all actuated by the original 39 pedals which stop the wide whites. 700 in rear and 600 in front, wrapped around powder coated 16 inch wire wheels. If the winning bidder desires I can switch the wheels out for some 16 inch 40 style wheels instead This is a late 35 or 36 cab that is very solid and pretty straight, This truck still has a few dings and maybe a pinhole here and there. It is sitting on top of new cab wood. There is a tiny amount of rot in the bed floor, but this was a really good bed with all it original wood in tact so I left it as is.The door close very nice and the smokers window kick back then down just as they should. The door are all built with original part and the driver side even has ans NOS outside handle. This has an old original chromed windshield that is not perfect but perfect for the truck. All original gauges in their original holes but the speedo with the correct drive gear and amps are only functional. Aftermarket gauges are what I use. All new electrical custom made harness for this application. Does have blinkers but, no horn or wipers. Clean CA title in my name email me for a phone number or a questions. Sold as is no warranty. Up for sale is my 37 Deluxe pickup finished about 2 months ago. Its titled, registered and I have been driving it ever since. They made just over 2000 Deluxe model pickups, trucks and panels combined. I have seen and owned many 37 pickups, this is the first Deluxe that I have had the opportunity to buy that was complete. I have some additional parts that go with it that I chose not to run like the dual horns and spare tire carrier with the lock. These however are not the tough to find parts though. The tough parts to find are the original chrome grille which is excellent and the super hard to find and also in great shape map light in the pass side wiper cover. The deluxe also included dual wipers, stainless hood side trim and a chrome windshield frame also original to the truck. The truck also has a factory heater pull which I have never seen on a pickup. Just like the choke and throttle pull there is one that says heater. The heater valve and pull are present but the device that attaches to the exhaust is not. Enough about the deluxe options, this truck had such cool patina to it I wanted keep it. As you can see excellent rockers and cab corners. The back is really good to but has really small amount of rust about 3-4 inches. I can get a pic if needed. So I had a chassis that had been blasted and painted at a previous date. This chassis has had some repair done but is super solid now. This chassis has all new hydraulic brakes, lines, and hoses with 39 pedals. The breaks stop great and it does not pull. The fuel system is also new and a little updated. New fuel tank and neck with period correct copper lines. I did hide a small quiet electric fuel pump over the rear end to ensure quick starts. I also left the manual pump for visual effect. This feeds a very, very strong 59ab Flathead believed to be an original low mile motor. Never smokes and has great compression in all cylinders. This is backed by the desirable 39 gear box which never has popped out of gear once! I am almost certain this rear end has 3:54 gears as she cruises at 60-65. Tube shocks in the back with a reverse eye slider spring. I took a few leafs out of the front and have no shocks because I feel it rides good this way. I have the mounts and shocks which also can be installed or just go with the truck. All this is cooled by the correct original radiator that has been re-cored and runs cool even in traffic. She has all new wiring front to back with original generator wound for 12 volts. I did not go original wiring with the horn button activating the lights though. Not a real fan of that set up, but has high and low beams with a pull mounted on the dash. This is a bob drake conversion kit. All new glass throughout but the driver door glass is not installed. I did this because the driver door is hurt on the bottom and I have another solid straight door that is included. I was torn as to which door to run because again I like the patina of this one. HOWEVER I will install the glass in this one if the buyer chooses, or install the better door with new glass. This is at no charge. Lastly is the bed. The bed was not original to the truck but is a correct 37 bed. This entire truck is bondo free except a couple small spots on the bed. Very very minimal on the bed only. I welded some 14 gauge 90 degree sheet metal around the perimeter of the bed to allow me to remove the floor out the back with minimal effort and leaves you with a super clean finish. The bed floor is tongue and groove engineered oak hardwood flooring. Distressed to match the appearance. Original gate, original chains and removable floor. This truck is turn key (or push button actually) just as it is. Or makes and excellent candidate to restore to a high dollar rig. I hate to compare auction prices but unfortunately the deluxes are so rare I have limited comps. check out what a restored 37 deluxe went for at Hershey auction. thanks for looking please serious people call with questions 619-24six- four one six4 rmsothebys.com/hf10/vintage-motor-cars-of-hershey/lots/1937-ford-deluxe-pickup/564034
