For sale is my 1971 Ford Mustang Grande. This car is a 2 door hardtop with the 351 Cleveland engine and a 2V carb. The body is in good condition with minimal rust. I am uncertain of the exact mileage as the previous owner replaced the guages with dakota digital but it is estimated to have around 80,000 total miles. This car has new front rotors/pads and a new dash. I drive it about once a week on average and have never had problems that require work other than basic maintenance. The paint has a few scratches that can be touched-up easily. I have a clean title in hand (it is a Nebraska title as I have recently moved to Boise). Cons: -In need of new front sway bar end links (this causes a rattling sound when going over bumps). -The rear left shock tower will need to be welded at some point. (I still have the shock, this does not affect how the vehicle drives much - I got an estimate for around $100 to be done professionally).

The car has a clear Arizona Title. Here's what we know about the vehicle. It has been in the Phoenix, Arizona metro area its entire life. It was sold new at Don Sanderson Ford, in Glendale, Arizona, a Phoenix suburb. The seller could be the third, fourth or fifth owner, who bought the Mustang about 10 or so years ago. The person he bought the car from stated they bought the car at an auction in the early '80's. It may have one owner previous to them, or it could have several. The car has been in storage for the past 10 years, only being driven occasionally. Less than 1,000 miles have been put on the car since the current owner bought it from the previous owner. He was unsure of whether or not to semi-restore it or do a full restoration to it. Due to family health issues, the owner just doesn't have the time to devote to the car, and would rather see it sold to someone who will take care if it, rather than to continue to store it. A Full Framed Marti Report for the vehicle is included with the sale of the vehicle, as is the ORIGINAL Window Sticker. From the Marti Report For This Vehicle: Of the 125,093 1972 Mustangs, 18,045 were Grande Hardtops. Of them, 8,391 came with 302-2V Engines, 4,762 of those had FMX Automatic Transmissions. 380 of them were painted Medium Lime Metallic, of which 346 had Green Cloth/Vinyl Bucket Seats. Of those, 40 were equipped with White Vinyl Roofs. 23 of them came with Air Conditioners. Of these, 19 were produced with Power Front Disc Brakes. 11 of those had consoles. Of them, 5 were ordered with Deluxe Seat Belts. 1 of these came with Sport Wheel Covers. 2F04F223785 is that Mustang. That's right, the very Mustang up for sale right here on Ebay. This Mustang. The following work was done recently. New Brake Master Cylinder, with entire brake system flush. Remove Fuel Tank, Clean and Reinstall. Fill with fresh Unleaded Gasoline. Changed Both Fuel Filters, one at tank, one at Carburetor. Remove Carburetor, Rebuild and Reinstall. Replace Fuel Pump. Oil & Filter Change. Replace Spark Plugs. Ignition is Solid State, points and condenser were removed. Electronic Ignition pickup was inspected for cracks and is in excellent condition. Recent Cooling System Flush. New Battery Hold-Down.(Aftermarket) Recent 24F Group Battery from Auto Zone. The previous owner had a valve job done to the engine, and had new lifters installed, as well as a new timing chain, with camshaft and crank gears. The previous owner also had the air-conditioning system repaired. We believe the A/C Compressor is an Aftermarket Bolt On Replacement. The system is complete, but needs a recharge due to the car sitting in storage. The tires are in excellent condition, including the spare. There are no signs of cracks in them. They appear to have 90% of usable tread left. All the wheels are matched aftermarket wheels, including the spare. Jack and lug wrench are in the trunk, underneath the spare tire. Lug lock tool comes with the car. The Body is original. It is NOT in mint condition. It has 43 years of wear and tear on it. There are some dings here and there. The Vinyl top is original but very rough. The original interior is all there, but the seats need reupholstering, and the carpet needs to be replaced. The Speedometer and Odometer are both working, as are the idiot lights in the dash. The original AM radio is gone. There is a AM/FM/CD Player installed in its place. The seat covers on the two front seats are there to prevent further wear and tear on the original seat covers that are heavily worn. The headliner is original and in good condition, with no sags and no tears. All of the glass is in good condition as well. All of the original trim, emblems and other chrome work are still on the car. The Engine starts right up and runs well. The transmission shifts smoothly, with absolutely no slippage. The brakes are in excellent condition. The car runs good and drives straight. The front end is tight and properly aligned. 1972 matching numbers, Ford Mustang Grande, runs and drives great. 101,000 miles with a rebuilt 5.0L, 302ci, V8 engine with over-sized camshaft and automatic transmission (~55,000 miles on the rebuilds). Loud flow-master dual exhaust and 4-barrel edlebrock carburetor. New stocks and tie rods. Newly restored interior with all new weather striping. Almost no rust and all rust damage has been repaired. A few paint issues on the trunk lid but it cleans up very nicely. I have been using it as a daily driver for 4 years with very few issues with reliability. AC and heater do not work but all the system needs is a new hose and a charge. AC compressor, condenser, and drier are all new. AC fan does work. Has a functioning radio and sound system. I am still driving it so mileage is not exact.Buyer is responsible for shipping.
