The driver seat needs to be re-upholstered, and the door lock jams. The car will need a new clutch soon but not yet slipping. Doesn't overheat. Car passed a smog test in August of 2016. Car had rims on it but the previous owner took them off, current rims don't match. Convertible top has to be lowered manually. Dark tinted windows. Registration is current. Clean title. No rust. Has a twin exhaust. Great gas mileage. Car recently got us down to Rosarito and back twice with no issues. Registration is good until 07/8/17. Car is being sold as is. You are bidding on my 1997 Ford Mustang Convertible. My husband bought me a newer convertible so now I am downsizing my vehicles by selling what I no longer drive. This has been a reliable car for me for the past couple of years that I have owned it. The only things I know to be wrong with it are that the convertible top leaks and the button to put the top up and down does not work, but you can manually do it. It worked when I bought it and stopped working suddenly about 6 months ago, and the odometer does not turn, so I dont know the actual true mileage on it. The odometer is stuck at around 80000 some odd miles and will not turn over. I have used this car as a daily driver until around october of last year, when I parked it and stopped driving it. It has been started a few times since so that it doesnt just sit. Also, the paint on it is faded. I tried to take good pics, but if you need anymore let me know ill take the best I can to help you judge the aesthetics of the car. The front windshield has a crack on it as well, started with a small crack from a rock hitting it on the interstate that I didnt realize until it has started to crack worse unfortunately. Also you can see in the pics there is a dent in the hood. I dont know how it happened and I think it was there when I first purchased the car. Title is clear and in hand. Owners also received a Ford history book, a black watch and key chain. The Centennial Package was a $995 upgrade. The Centennial Editions can be identified by the door post VIN sticker having an interior color code of “CH”. Normally you’d only see the “H” for Medium Parchment under the INT TRIM section, however the C denotes a Centennial version with the 100 year logo on the front seats.
