Up for sale is a low original mileage (22,600) 1992 Vibrant Red Summer Special Convertible Mustang. I bought the car a few months ago from PA. Has been garage kept entire life, had 18,000 on it when she bought it 5 years ago. I have put on new front brake calipers, pads, rotors, repacked front wheel bearings, and seals, I have flushed brake fluid. Has four brand new Goodyear Eagle Sport all season radials on it. Front end alignment was done, oil changed with Pennzoil and Ford filter. Over $1100 spent on maintenance. No leaks, no curb rash on wheels. Car is a nice low mileage driver. Very clean underneath, no rust. All original except has Flo Master mufflers and tail pipes. They are fairly new. Fairly new Ford battery. Top and interior are in great shape. Has graphic OE stock equalizer radio, which is a rare option. This car has every available option for that year. Runs great. 1991 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible (manual) in outstanding shape. 37,XXX original miles, never raced, just used as a Sunday cruiser. Under the hood is nearly perfect and mostly unmodified. Car is 95% stock. Tires and rims are about 2 years old (~8K miles). Top is in perfect shape. Interior is in excellent shape and is original. The leather has some wear because it has never been replaced, but I decided to leave it original. Only mods are cold air intake, Flowmaster exhaust and midpipe, spoiler, stereo and speakers, 3.73 gears, and light bar. Car drives perfect and 6 months ago just had brand new clutch and cable installed. I took off the intake plate, sanded, taped, and re-painted (looks great) to original specs. There are 2 minor issues that I haven't got around to fixing: 1. The driver's side rear quarter panel window sits up 1.5" when put down all the way. Easy fix, but I haven't had time. All the parts in the windows are fine - I tried to adjust the window to fix it but didn't have a second set of hands so I left it. 2. There is a ticking noise under the car when I drive it. It occurs every once in a while, but I have no idea what it is. I am fairly certain it has nothing to do with the drivetrain, but can't tell for certain. Occurs when slowing down, when driving, in any gear, etc. There is nothing specific that produces the sound, and the couple of shops that looked at it said that it wasn't anything to be concerned with. New BBK catted H-Pipe installed 4/22 New KONI rear shocks installed 4/22 Subframe connectors installed on 5/4 ($350 with parts/labor). Lots of paperwork and maintenance receipts. Original radio, top boot and cover, original manual (even have the gas receipt from the first fillup), and original ring and pinion, will be included in the auction. The ashtray works perfectly. A/C is cold... Just put in a new battery 4 months ago. If you are looking for a clean Mustang, this is it. I don't want to part with it, but I would really like to have a clean hatchback.
