Here is your chance to own a beautiful 2004 SVT Mustang Cobra with only 12,800 miles! 1 of 308! I originally purchased the Cobra from a Lamborghini dealership and am the second owner. The first owner of the car had purchased it planning to give it to his son when he turned 16. The father had the car stored in an air controlled unit and it was always indoors and was saving it for his sons 16th birthday. The father would go and drive it monthly but only drove it short distances. Unfortunately his son was unable to drive the car when he turned 16 and his dad decided to sell the car to the dealership. It only had 800 miles on it and was like new in 2008 when I purchased it! Since 2008, I have only put an additional 12,000 miles on the car and it now has 12,803 miles. It’s still like new! You can still smell the leather seats the same when I went to pick up the car in 2008. This car is amazing and something special. It has seen the rain only once or twice by accident, never driven in the snow even though it was originally purchased in Chicago. I always detailed the car myself. I would use a two bucket wash method, clay bar, 2 step polish, Wolfgang Fusion ($200) wax and the whole 9 yards. I love this car and enjoy taking care of it. The oil I used each time I changed the oil was Royal Purple XPR 5W-30 Ultra-light Extreme Performance Synthetic Racing Motor Oil. I do not skimp. THIS OIL IS $20 PER QUART. Back in 2008 the dealership installed a clearbra on the front of the car, and mirrors to prevent rock chips. The clearbra has a scuff mark on the drivers side. My dad was obsessed with having the car not hangout into the sidewalk and pulled it too far forward and lightly bumped our other car and it chipped the paint in a three inch section. I left the film on for chip protection, but it would look better taken off or replaced with a newer film. I have the Borla stinger catback, with the pro chamber x pipe (it sounds AMAZING) deep and powerful with great tone, no rasp. Loud as can be when you want, but put it in fifth or sixth gear and it can be tame if you’d like. I also did a 2.76 upper pulley, JLT cold air intake, H&R Race springs, and a dyno tune by Bob Kurgan (Bob Kurgan is very well known out of Chicago). All of the work was done by Deans Performance, a very reputable shop. Hans (the owner of Deans Performance) is great! It made great power and dynoed just shy of 500whp and 500tq. I have 315/35/17 Mickey Thompson ET street drag radials on the rear, and still have the original tires on the front. I moved to Arizona and took the car with me. It was shipped in an all enclosed truck. It is always garage kept, and driven monthly. It’s my ‘weekend’ car and as such I have been able to keep the miles very low, and the car is in pristine condition. NO RUST. It’s a great car and drives spectacularly. It is so fun to drive around and have the top down on a nice day and cruise around town. The Cobra almost always gets thumbs up when I am out driving, and it draws crowds at car shows. People don’t believe me when I tell them it only has 12,000 miles! Don’t let this chance to own a 2004 Mustang SVT Cobra with extremely low miles slip through your fingers! No lowballs, tire kickers, or joy rides. No canvassers. This Cobra in particular is worth the extra because of the love, time and care I put into it as well as excellent condition and very low miles. I am selling my 2001 mustang cobra with a CLEAN TITLE. The car was just repainted. It runs great and has new walbro 255 fuel pump. The transmission has around 55k miles on it and had about 7k miles on a spec stage 3 clutch. It also has a diablo programmer, bassani catted x pipe with a bbk intake, bbk 65mm throttle body and eibach lowering springs. The rear brakes on the car are new oem ford rotors with ceramic pads and the front has about 10k miles on hawk hps pads. The bad on the car: I purchased this car a little over 6 years ago and ended up selling it to someone I worked with, he spun the car out at the drag strip his first pass at (SIR) and hit the passenger quarter into the wall. The car sat for the next 5 years until he paid off the loan. Since this happened at the drag strip it was not insurable. I then purchased the car back from him about 8 months ago and began fixing it. It now has a new oem rear quarter panel on it and was freshly painted. The problem is there is frame damage underneath which was not seen or addressed by the body shop. So in order to try to fix that the work that has already been done on that quarter panel might have to be redone. I don't have the time or patience anymore. The car has a clean title and will come with the polished oem 2001 cobra wheels. I have 2 brand new in the boxes oem wheels and the 3 undamaged ones that are from the car originally. The bullit wheels ARE NOT INCLUDED. The car does still need a few things, the driver seat is a little bent from the wreck and the IRS rear sway bar is also bent and will need to be replaced with new end links. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I will help with shipping needs. I am just trying to see if I get any interest in the car the way it sits otherwise I will be parting it out. Unfortunately, I need to sell my baby that I've owned for 10 years. I am the second owner and bought it from the original owner in January 2005 when it had only 9,000 miles on the odometer.Many tasteful upgrades (too many to list but can go over everything in detail, if interested) and meticulously maintained. I have receipts that read like a novel of nearly everything from the window sticker to oil changes to repairs to the wheels and tires from both myself and the original owner. Included in the sale will be many additional random parts that I've saved over the years, for example a used Fidanza flywheel (just needs to be machined and is as good as new), intake, K&N filter, original Mach stereo (CD player not working though), old replaced parts, etc. Many polyurethane bushings replaced from motor mounts to transmission mount, to IRS bushings; subframe connectors welded in too. Also includes a pair of brand new -in box- cross drilled and slotted rotors and Ford PBR Cobra brake pads for the front brakes; 3 quarts of Royal Purple for the rear end, brand new set of NGK TR6 spark plugs, and a new fuel filter. I simply haven't had time to install them yet. Every oil change is Mobil 1; spark plugs replaced every other oil change. Also included is a brand new in box Ram HDX clutch kit, Ram steel flywheel, Cobra clutch cable, FRPP Pilot bearing, and FRPP flywheel bolts and dowel pins - all are brand new in box with receipts - $700+ in new clutch parts. I will have these installed by the time it sells. All clutch parts were bought from AMP Motorsports in Phoenix, AZ on 4/17/15 and the owner -Tom- advised me that the 1 year warranty for the clutch parts will be honored for the new owner; receipt of purchase included for your records.A few notable upgrades: Bluetooth wireless for your iPhone, 2 Boston G2 10" subs (the bass is intense) with custom enclosure install that looks so clean like it's from the factory, Rockford Fosgate T3002 Amplifier, Capacitor, 4G wiring, SIRIUS satellite radio with remote control, billet HVAC controls, 9mm hollow point door locks, 18" SSR GT3 3 piece wheels ($4K new in 2003...I have the receipt!), and newer (~6 months old) Continental Extreme DW tires all the way around. Currently has a McLeod RST twin disc clutch and McLeod flywheel with McLeod clutch quadrant and UPR firewall adjuster. H&R SS red springs lowers the car for a beautiful stance with Maximum Motorsports Caster/Camber plates. Upgraded AFE dual pass heat exchanger with newer intercooler pump to keep things cool for the supercharger. I had it professionally aligned and brand new tie rod ends installed last Friday 4/10/15 at Network Alignment in Phoenix; of course, receipt included for your records. Ice cold A/C will make you shiver and the heat will make you sweat. Interior is in great condition and shines nicely. This car has been professionally tuned by one of the Valley's top tuners at 474/468 rear wheel HP/TQ at ~13lbs of boost; Air/Fuel is beautiful. Of course, I have the paperwork for that.
