Bought, loved and half-restored. Selling for school money. Title is clear, but being held at title company with a loan. Once Mustang is sold, the title loan will be paid off and title available within 10 minuets. Here is a re-cap of the restorations that have been done. I am estimating mileage since the rebuild. The dash console speedometer is accurate, as well as the engine temp gauge. All interior and dash electrical has been redone. See dash photos. Rebuilt 289, which is original prior to current ownership. Rebuild is less than a year old. Engine is bored out 60 with new rods, pistons, rings, mild cam and resurfaced heads. There are new valvue retainers and springs, as well as the distributor, elderbrock performer intake, holly 4bbl carb, aftermarket aluminum radiator. 300 gears in the rear end, the gas tank and sending unit have been replaced; as well as the upper and lower control arms, tie rod ends and 1" drop springs. Just had to bypass the heater core, that went bad last week, so I am taking that replacement into account with the price. Starter has been replaced, "col vents" redone, wipers are new, tires and rims brand new. Heater core replaced and transmission worked on. Last photo is of a "love tap," the type of damage that we all fear from parking lots and driveways. The only damage here is the paint scrape, no damage to the body itself. Over all the car runs awesome, just needs some more exterior love and upholstry work. Good as an every day driver, but if you are really interested comps for a total finished restored '65 Mustang range from the mid-$20's to $30K.
