A clean California Mustang assembled in San Jose up for your consideration. A nice solid chassis and straight body. The car is driven fairly regularly, all electronics and gauges are working and the interior is complete. The 200 is not a race car engine and it's slow zero to 5 but it's pretty quick once you're past that. But it is a work horse of an engine and this one has already been rebuilt. If you live in Southern California you can definitely drive this one home. I've owned a couple of these with 351's and I can tell you that the car is going to pitch around the turns if you drop a bigger one in so I wouldn't recommend anything over a 289. New radiator. The Cragar rims are not original but the tires are fairly new and the car handles the curves quite well. The paint is over 2 years old and still looks great. Underneath is in overall pretty good shape. There is going to be some slight surface rust here and there. The muffler pipes are in fact rusty. I only mention that in case I run into fussy buyer types. Things I haven't gotten around to: The turn signal doesn't always cancel when turning left. There are two spots where the paint has popped a bit. (See last 2 photos) Behind the passenger side back seat window and lower/front corner of the passenger side door. There is a slow drip and the oil pan gasket probably needs to be replaced. I just can't get under there any more. There is a black stain on the carpet on the passenger and where your feet would rest. I am including a car cover with this 66 and a spec book. I will also look around and see if i have some original 66 hubcaps and if I do I will throw them in. There is an Alpine stereo/CD player unit that is included with the sale. It is on the floor and slides right out if you decide to pull it. There is also an in dash Mustang radio/cassette player but I don't believe it was available in 66 so it may not be original. (I just checked the specs and the 8 track was available, but not the cassette) I am happy to answer any questions you may so please feel free to ask.

This is a gorgeous Saleen Mustang S-281 SOHC 3 Valve car, pushes 330BHP, true American muscle. Paint is Torch Red (D3) with Dark Grey leather interior, Saleen quick ratio 5spd manual transmission that is a complete blast to drive coupled with the Saleen Racecraft N2 suspension that handles incredible. No internal engine mods, car is bone stock. Stock stainless exhaust with Saleen stock Magnaflow custom stainless mufflers that has 4 ports and sounds amazing, wont wake up the neighbors unless you are punching it - zero drone in cockpit, Saleen dialed this exhaust in! Paint is beautiful with tons of shine and depth in the clear coat, no scratches, in like showroom condition. Interior still smells like new, not a rip or wrinkle anywhere in leather, again, like new. Has all the options, Pwr windows, locks, ice cold A/C.etc etc - Stereo is the stock "shaker" system sounds amazing.
