I'm selling this nice 1973 convertible because I have way too many projects and I know I'll never get to this one. I bought it because it's such a solid and complete car. I'm very confident it has never been molested or modified. The motor and transmission appear to be original and I would believe the car has only 83,XXX on it. The car runs and drives and pretty much everything works on the car except the radio which is missing. It has power steering and power brakes. The power top works very well too. The important parts on a mustang that are usually bad are all solid and look great,(torque boxes, frame rails, trunk, etc.). The seams on the doors, hood and trunk all look good. In my opinion I was going to replace rear quarters, patch passenger side floor pans, and patch or replace inner fender aprons. It does have a Dinged up left side quarter panel but needs a quarter panel anyway. The interior is probably original and I would recover the seats and new door panels. The dash is very good but has 1 very small crack that is hardly noticeable. The carpet looks good and could be reused. It does need a new convertible top. It's a good running 302. It would be a easy project to get back on the road, that's why I bought it. I was going to pull the motor out of it, put new seals and gaskets, tune it up, clean and paint it, and put it back in. These convertibles are finally gaining in value and are a great driving and cruising car. This one I think would be a easy winter project to be cruising in by summer.
