This Mustang has been restored and modified by previous owner and current owner, including many upgrades. I have the Marti Report and as far as I can determine this has always been a Florida vehicle. When I purchased this car it had a 289 cu.in. engine with the T-5 transmission and Ford 9 inch rear end. It had been stripped down and re-painted. He added the hood and side scoops. The interior had aftermarket dash components, seats, CD player/radio, and Accu-Meter gauges. He had put on the current tires and wheels. Since I have had the car I have put in the following, a 302 small block stroked and bored to 348 cu.in. with a Holley 4 barrel carburator, MSD ignition system, oversized aluminum radiator, and cooling fan (less then 2000 miles). FloMaster exhaust and headers. Classic AutoAir A/C unit. Springs and shocks all around. New brakes, including rotors, calipers, drums, and pads. Steering box and control valve with hoses. New clutch. New headliner and interior carpeting. New side view mirrors. 3 point shoulder harnesses in front. Vinyl wrap hood stripe and cowl area around grill. New rear window mechanisms. Car is available for local sale and may be withdrawn. The body panels are smooth and straight and no known rust. It has been re-painted at least twice. There is a crack in the joint between the metal hood and fiberglass scoop on one corner. The rear bumper has a small area (approx. 9x3 inches) where the chrome appears to have been scratched with fine grit sandpaper or steel wool. Some very light bubbling of the chrome on the original vent wing and rear window frames. If I were to keep this vehicle, I would replace the older T-5 transmission with something that could handle the high torque of the new engine and install a new throwout bearing. In addition, I would put in leather seats to finish off the interior.
