1969 Mach 1 with 428 Cobra Jet. Black Jade with Mach1 Stripes Starts easy, pulls hard. Car as it stands is correct to the marti report and build sheet. This is not a rusted out hulk or tubbed racer returned to factory configuration. I believe only a small segment of the drivers side floor and the core support have been replaced. Very nice job on both. Correct Four Speed Close ratio transmission RUG-AE2 Replaced with Hurst “Competition plus” unit. Original unit goes with car. Engine is build to stock with the correct CJ intake manifold and exhaust manifold. Carburator is the correct service replacement. Fender aprons match dash and door serials Lots of date codes sheet metal Paint is very nice but not perfect (9/10?) Interior is mostly new Engine is correct date code and VIN marked (I have no reason to believe its not original) Transmission is correct RUG A2 model but I do not see a visible VIN Third member is date code correct 9”. “N” is not present in the casting as many CJs did not have the N in many units. It is a verified nodular big bearing unit setup professionally with the 3.25 R&P set. The axles are correct original 31 splines. Non power steering car. Headlights, tach, signals, lights are all functioning properly. Radio has been replaced with a classic auto sound unit with AUX-in for modern sound. A Philco AM unit goes with car, but I do not believe this is the correct radio for this model & year. Undercarriage is clean and restored. Floorpans are painted black and are very original being a southern car.
