This is my 68 coup I've owned for about a year. I purchased it from a Ford dealer last fall and have been restoring/improving it but now have to sell it for personal reasons. It's super clean and a great driving car. The odometer reads around 115K but the only thing on the car that actually has that many miles is the odometer. Everything else has either been replaced or rebuilt, a lot of it within the last year since I purchased it. The body is in great shape and was painted a several years ago by the previous owner. The paint in in very good condition but does have a few nicks and the usual wear and tear of a car that has been driven. In the past year I've removed the original 4 speed and installed a T-5 with a hydraulic clutch actuation, new driveshaft, Wilwood disk brakes on all fours, manual rack and pinion steering, 17" wheels with Cooper RS3S tires, aluminum radiator, holly 570 4 barrel, billet distributer, comp cams extreme energy cam kit, ceramic headers, new vinyl top, seats, kenwood radio w/10" powered sub, one wire alternator, 3 point seat belts, hood hinges and springs, window regulators, and many other items too numerous to list. The engine has Windsor heads, Harland sharp roller rockers, MSD ignition, and runs strong. I had new duals installed with Borla mufflers. This was a little too loud as the mufflers were a straight through design so I installed some glass packs ahead of the mufflers and the result was great, just enough sound with good flow but not obnoxious. I hate to sell it now that I've got it where I want it but as I said personal reasons dictate. I've put a lot of work into this car and it will make someone a great hot rod for years to come. I could go on and on about the condition but if someone is serious shoot me a note with your phone # and I'll give you a call. I'm located in western North Carolina and have a lift in my garage if anyone would like to come by and inspect. Items I've installed within the past year- 5 speed Transmission including - flywheel, clutch, tranny, cross member, driveshaft, speedo cable, wildwood clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder and starter. Wilwood 12" disc brakes including - new master cylinder, braided lines in front, replaced rear axle bearings and seals while out, came with new front wheel bearings and hubs, Wilwood parking brake cables with late model floor acutator. Rear leaf springs and shocks. Wheels and tires. Unisteer rack and pinion kit. Radiator and fan shroud. Holley 570 4 barrel, washable air filter, fuel pump, fuel regulator. MSD billet distributer, wires, plugs, coil. Ceramic coated headers, duals, mufflers. Vinyl top, front and rear window gaskets. Seats from donor car. Kenwood CD with 10" powered sub. Front seat belts. One wire alternator, starter solenoid. Heavy duty hood hinges and springs. Window regulators. Comp cams extreme energy cam kit, lifters, double roller timing chain, harmonic balancer. Items previous owner replaced or installed - Fuel tank and lines. Prothane bushing in front end and rear shackles. carpet. Brake lines. Dash pad. Rubber window and door seals, trunk and hood seal.
